Tgi Fridays

Our waiter was very friendly his name is Russ as he reminded us, "with the ponytail". The food came out in a timely fashion and the presentation was wonderful. The food was really good and the music helped set the tone for the atmosphere. It wasn't crowded at all. We hit it at the perfect time lunch on the Friday afternoon. I would definitely go back again.

The absolute worst experience ever. My pasta had melted plastic mixed in it. My husband ordered a rare steak which came out over cooked so his remake was cold as ice. We had to ask another sever for napkins, didn’t receive silverware until after our food came out. And the chicken nachos appetizer was a joke, nearly $12 for an appetizer that didn’t even have but a little meat on it. First and last time ever visiting a TGI Friday’s.

We waited 35 minutes and only received mayonnaise. When our food arrived mine was cold. The waitress did check on us and the floor manager did take my meal off the ticket. My wife's meal was cold as well but she was hangry so she ate hers. The manager said she was going to discount it. I was so looking forward to the bacon wrapped shrimp but was disappointed.😭

The time spent with my mother was lovely! I can say the waitress was nice in the beginning, til we had to pay and he forgot to take our money,so we had to go to the front and ask how do we pay,apparently he ran off to back and got upset that he had to come back.. but the food was good! And the scenery was cool!

We arrived around 1p or so. It was a beautiful day so we requested to sit outside. The waitress showed us to our table. She did not ask about drinks. She just left. We waited about 15 mins before I decided to give them another 5 mins before I spoke with the manager. I spoke with staff member who states she would mention to our waiter that we were ready to order. We waited an additional 20 mins before I decided I would not wait any longer. I demanded to speak with manager. The manager arrived and she seemed very nonchalant. She seemed to keep repeating the story about how the ball has been dropped and she'll fix it. All I heard was that there seems to be a lack of communication. My sugar was dropping I really needed to eat. She brought the drinks out. We began with the quesadillas which were a small portion but they were delicious. Everything after the first app was disgusting. The bacon nachos were burnt, the loaded potato skins weren't loaded but were definitely burnt and the BBQ flat bread was cold and also had a piece of hair/lint in it that my mom almost placed in her mouth. Yuck!! After trying to be understanding we finally called the manager over again and showed her the travesty. She agreed with our findings and apologized. She mentioned that she was surprised by how nice we were about the endless screw-ups. She took care of the bill, but I would've preferred to have a great dining experience instead of leaving 2-3 hrs later still starving and prepared to grab something decent to eat. She said she would take care of us when we return, however I have no intentions of that.

We decided to have dinner here during our vacation. Service was slow. Took a long time for someone to come and take our orders. Keep in mind there wasn't many people there. I ordered a burger with jalapenos. When it came out the burger only had (3) of the smallest jalapenos. We ordered a specialty drink that was supposed to come with a shaker on the side. It didn't. When my sister asked about it the waitress was unsure and had the Manager come to the table. He explained that State of Alabama doesn't allow anyone under 21 to serve a shaker cup with alcohol. Legal age under 21 to serve alcohol is 19 & 20. If she was under that age or even if law was no one under 21...she shouldn't have been serving us drinks at all. That's concerning. When it was time to pay our checks the waitress never came back to pick it up. We sat there for a while and eventually had to wave done the Manager for him to take our payments. My food was delicious, but service was slow. I gave it 3 stars because of the food...but it should have been 2 stars or even 1.5 for the service. It totally could have been a one off.
