Caffe Dolce

I ordered an Italian soda and I was not impressed. Probably the easiest thing to put together but it was flavorless and colorless. They don’t measure their flavoring so it’s hit or miss if they put enough in to make the sparkling water taste like something other than water. I couldn’t tell what I was drinking it was so bland and their selection of syrups is small and boring. The least they could do is put some of what they do have in the cup. I’ll hit the drinking fountain next time and probably won’t be able to tell the difference between that and what I ordered at Dolce.

I feel like I’m being generous with this, because the Ham and Cheese was good. The employees both forgot to put in my order for my drink. My boyfriend and I are out of town and needed to get on the road quickly, as we had a long drive ahead of us. We waited 40+ minutes for two drinks and two sandwiches. When the barista asked if I was waiting for anything, and I told her, she said she would make my drink right away, and made someone else’s drink first. Frustrating

Breakfast and brunch here are great! . And I seriously love their coffee. However, I have never been impressed by their dinner. It's like they try too hard to be fancy and complex with their dishes. Sometimes simple is better. They are often smaller portions as well so you often go hunger or spend lots of money. I've gone here many nights over the years (I grew up in Missoula) and I've never come away super happy with dinner.

The cashiers are antisocial, the opposite of what a customer service person should be, like you're bothering them when you want to order. They also don't leave tips to you. If you're not looking for it, it isn't uncommon for the entitled cashier to set his sale with a tip for himself. That isn't how tips work. Just look out for it and undo what he does. Taking a latte order doesn't call for automatic gratuity 🤦 Having a personality would definitely help in the tip arena. Edit: @Zen I work in fast food. I know how entitled people can get. I don't deserve a tip because I fill out an order. I am grateful when someone gives me a tip. The cashier purposely does it and is hoping the customer doesn't notice. Those tablets aren't automatically set that way. Don't be disingenuous.

My coworkers and used to go here all the time. The service is horrible. The employees eat while working on your food. They do not want to help you or stop their conversations. The food has gotten bad. I had some soup and it had too much salt and tasted disgusting. The coffee takes 20 min and is not good. There are far better places in the mall to eat and get coffee.
