Los De Canasta

I got there 1 hour before closing so the full menu was not available. The tacos were pretty small in my opinion. I also ordered a papa asada and I had to ask them to take it back because the cheese had a weird smell and taste. I really did enjoy the tacos though. The service was good. I'm not sure if I would go back.

Don’t listen to any of the bad reviews they clearly are not food reviewers and just want to leave bad reviews because they felt bad. This place is the best place to get tacos de canasta. Obviously if you go at 4-6 there’s probably not going to be many options. There are sometimes a lack of personnel but they are hiring so be patient. They are super busy during 11- 1 so expect some wait. They are really nice people. Really good prices two orders of tacos and two drinks cost about 25$. Enjoy them at that price while you still can because if i were them I’d raise the price a bit.

So the food is pretty good but I find they run out of certain items a lot. One time I went with friends for the suadero tacos ordered 3 plates but they only had enough meat for 2. I thought okay it was late in the day that must be why they ran out. Went another time and they didn’t have suadero OR bistek which was weird because we went pretty early in the day. Just seems like they’re not prepared enough to make what they have on their menu. Sad since the food does have good flavor but you never know if what you want will be available. Also staff is not the friendliest they seem annoyed and exasperated to have customers come in and when I’ve gone it wasn’t even packed. Probably won’t go again.

They charge you for what should be a courtesy cup of water. They claim they don’t have water, so what do they make their aguas frescas with? Food serving was way too small, and extremely expensive, the waiter was very unprofessional, would roll his eyes and ignore you completely. Serving size is very unfulfilling, should be an appetizer. Food is NOT tasty at all.
