Ruby's Pancake House Minooka

Cozy little spot. I was in the mood for pancakes and walked over from the pilot truck stop. there is no truck parking but im sure a trucker can fanagle it if they choose to. The burrito I ordered was huge and tasty. the pancakes were good but not above average. I feel the prices are too high for the food. 3 pancakes are $7.99 ...thats roughly $3 a pancake...Burrito was $8.99 and I added rice to it along with a Mexican coke, not even the medio litro, the smaller one,, came to $26.35 I support mom & pop cozy restaurants like this but feel if they adjusted their prices the world would open up to them. They were short on staff so I can understand dining in would take a while, as I saw only one waitress. Everyone is friendly here but they have some adjustments to make to reach 5 stars Food was tasty but not above average. The burrito was huuuuge. I got the Carne asada burrito added rice, no cheese no lettuce

Food is okay, but they charge a ridiculous amount for it. We got charged $2.50 for a glass of water, charged for every soda refill that was brought to the table without asking for it, and a side of corned beef hash was $10. These prices are not what’s listed on the menu. Went in for a small breakfast for two and was charged $45 for mediocre diner food. Not worth it.
