It's been a year since we took our group to this little quaint place that we fell in love with, after we reserved three table for 12 and we were awed with the walleye and the cornbread was so delicious and the owners were great and I myself can't wait to see them again! We will be up in August 2019 and we brought 4 more we will be calling to make reservations again!
Hit a deer right outside the bar. The bartender and patrons were super sweet, made sure I was okay, gave me a free beer, and offered help in a variety of ways. As a woman, I felt safe with the lady bartender hovering near by, and the patrons gave me space to make phone calls inside the bar so I didn’t have to be outside in the dark. Thank you to Bootlegger’s for making my first (and frankly, overdue) run-in with a deer not a horrible experience!

Was not sure about staying when we first walked in. Glad we did. Excellent food and service. Every body there was friendly. It is a great little dive bar!!.
Awesome. The burgers were bomb! Great service too. And right on the snowmobile trail.
I was out in Wisconsin for a job. Found myself driving by Bootlegger's Bar & Grill several times. Finally decided to go and check it out because of a very bright sign in the dark that said PIZZA! To be honest the place looked like it was a place where only the locals hung out. When we entered the bar we drew the attention of the entire bar as we walked to the dining area. It's a hidden gem. Inside the pace is full of memorabilia, old beer steins and bills of past patrons. We ordered a large order which consisted of battered shrimp, a large pepperoni pizza, jalapeño poppers, mozzarella sticks, a steak and potatoes and bacon cheese burger. All of the food and I mean all of it was amazing! The service was top notch. Upon leaving we left a bill on the wall marking our trip to the Bootlegger's Bar & Grill!
The best Nelson steak sandwich! Amazing burgers! Service and the cook are amazing! Best bloodys around! Randomly stopped on the way home from camping will come back again!
A great place to have a drink some pizza and good conversation.
Excellent hospitality and homemade pizza was fantastic but a little pricey I think.
