Trapeze - Minneapolis - Photo album

Service was A+, half chicken perfectly cooked. The steak frites was incredibly tender & the creme Brûlée was perhaps the best I've ever had. Be prepared for a lively atmosphere and to share space potentially with strangers.
I thought it was a cool looking spot. Atmosphere was old brasserie style. The menu items were actually very French (I lived in France for a number of years) The charcuterie plate was good but the cheese portions were a bit on the small side. Homemade pickles were nice. Thé Royale cheeseburger was
What a quaint spot for a late-night bite! The service was excellent and everything came out quickly (we theorized the chef was eager to close and go on a date). The flavors were subtle and well-paired in the dishes. Overall, can’t wait to return and savor some new items while we imagine funny little
We sat at the bar and the bartender was just as attentive for our food as I would expect at a table. Everything we tried was delicious, including the chilled soup. We had several vegetarian items, all had great flavor. I loved the French style with Uptown flair inside. It felt comfortable and loc
Our second time dining at Barbette, the food was delicious, service was great, a very cozy atmosphere. It would have been nice to have more dinner options. Over all, it was a great experience.
We had a wonderful Saturday brunch at Barbette. The atmosphere is elegantly comfortable with good music and superb service by Lidia. The menu had a lot of vegetarian options. We will definitely return soon!
Gluten free accommodating! Got the tartar app with red wine glazed salmon with a drink, hibiscus margarita. Great atmosphere and overall pleasant vibe. Was busy, but not too loud which I like and appreciate. Not easy to do that. Will go back!
One bite into my burger and I had to review. This is a great burger! And the lettuce is standout. Yes, the lettuce. I will be back next time I am in town.
Had dinner with a couple friends and everything was spot on. Busy, even on a week night, so I'd recommend reservations. The raw oysters were fresh and yummy, we tries both west and east coast ones! The local cheeses and spreads were delicious and the baguette was warm and soft. All the food took a b
My friend and I came here for brunch. I did not manage to try everything I would like to, but what I had was good! First of all, out of all things, the atmosphere and vibe were great, and it was a good environment for intimate conversations. Food-wise, my friend and I had the Croque Monsieur, the Qu
Service was good and attentive. Came for some smaller plates - chefs plate charcuterie was a bit vinegar heavy. Quality was great!
Fantastic brunch at a fantastic price! And you have to try the hibiscus tea. The service can be a bit slow once you have your meal and/or drinks, but I think they know how much I enjoy lingering here. And all of the staff is extremely pleasant.
Loved this little neighborhood restaurant. Cheese plate and scallop appetizer were both excellent. Had the shrimp scampi, salmon and mushroom risotto entrees and everyone loved their choices. Will be back.
This meal we had at Barbette made me miss Paris so much. Even though we didn't have a reservation, the kind hostess said we could find a table for two. As someone who used to have a waffle addiction, the waffle we ordered really hit the spot; sealing our meal with the most delicious, sweet note. Ev
Very friendly staff, lovely atmosphere, and exceptional French fare. It’s easy to spend an hour or two here with friends. A landmark of the Uptown Lake Street area, it’s a great corner to stop for a bite, especially in the summer, when you can follow up your meal with a walk around the nearby lake o
We had a good time at Barbette. The hostess wasn’t very friendly, but thankfully our waiter was great. We really enjoyed our brunch. Food was tasty! The ambiance is nice - fun and eclectic. It feels like you’re in Europe. It didn’t bother us, but it can get quite loud when there are a lot of people.
I went to Barbette for their Happy Hour. 2-5. I got the Mussels 12 for 6 bucks! What a bargain! I think they're the best in town! I also had a glass of Sangria, so delicious! The frites are also really good, they come with a housemade Saffron Aioli!
