I'm ashamed, I've never even heard about you all until I stopped by your food truck today. I ordered the traditional and it was one of the best things I've ever eaten. So fresh, so well seasoned and filled to the brim!

Walking into the entrance of this basement establishment is reminiscent of many typical British pubs, with a small seating area to the right, a map of the London Underground to the left, and stairs leading down to the order window. The menu is posted on the wall, and prices are reasonable. A sausage roll and ginger limeade (I highly recommend the ginger limeade!) was $11. If you're interested in watching your food come together (and if it's not crowded when you order), the order window opens to a view of the kitchen area. My sausage roll was more like a Scottish meat pie than a British sausage roll in that the crust was a more solid, flat pastry. British sausage rolls that I've had in the UK have a croissant-like crust. However, it was filled with the same delicious finely chopped and seasoned sausage filling. I 100% recommend Potter's Pasties and Pies! I'll definitely return and try some of the other menu items!

Absolutely AMAZING food. Seriously incredible, got three different options and each was better than the last. Hefty and delicious ♥️

If it were not for Potters Pasties, I would not be married. They are the best of the best. They are better than the pasties from Michigan and have various flavors and types. Thank you very much, and the food is very yummy. I will come back many times.

Very Hardy meal. Well seasoned. Tonight our group ate 2 Pig with apple dipping sauce, 1 Chicken Pot Pie (meaty) and 1 Thai Veg (perfect heat from the spices) Pasties. Amazingly flaky crust. Thanks for parking outside Utepils Brewery.

The best pasties I've ever had and I'm from northern Michigan! Don't even think about it- just order a large. Ultimate comfort food!

This place is so good. Food trucks and physical location. It's a little confusing to get to... It's on the back side of Joe's market, and you have to go down stairs to the basement. It's worth it. Love it. Go there now.

Really full flavorful pasties that hit the spot every time. The store front location has a cool back alley or subway-like feel to it with the entrance being a bit tucked out of the way. The first time I visited I remember entering through the solid black back door and going down the cement stairs while metal music played, it was a unique and oddly refreshing first impression. I particularly enjoy the chicken pasty for its rich chicken soup-like flavors and tender pulled chicken. The sausage roll is a tasty alternate option available as well. The wait is never bad, usually about 12 minutes, and both the small and large versions of the pasties are a great value depending on how hungry you are. I’m excited to check out their food truck in the future.

Pasties are very flavorful and well seasoned. Expensive in my opinion but still worth the try. Service was a bit unorganized but not super inconvenient.

Introducing my kids to a favorite from my time at the Capital. The shop is described as the Underground because it is! A labelled awning will tell you that you are at the correct building, and then find the shop's heavy door 'round the back. Stairs only lead straight to the tiny basement ordering window. Due to reduced business in the winter, they did not have ginger-mint soda or banafee pie, which was a disappointment. In a fit of nostalgia, I ordered every pasty on the menu. The crusts were a bit darker than expected. Each pasty is about a half lb of food. The Pig was well filled with tender pork and the apples were tender-crisp, not mush. My youngest devoured the Traditional so fast he nearly burned his mouth on the freshly-made beef pie. My oldest said that the Chicken was really good and well seasoned. As much as they liked the chicken, they appreciated the soft veggies too. It really was like a hand-held pot pie. The Thai surprised my hubby both because he hadn't expected any such thing AND because it was very well done and delicious. The eating area was clean, but had only 3 stools in a tiny, narrow and tall eating nook back at the top of the stairs. Music was played from this kitchen, and was a slasher/head banger sort of style.

Their pies are awesome. We usually get them for take and bake. Only reason for 4 stars is the quality varies, sometimes they're not as amazing as usual (but they're still good), and also, they usually run out of the special of the week or send them all on the food trucks :(

These pasties are sublime! Anytime I see Potter's is going to be parked at a favorite brewery, we make a point to show up. The flavor combinations are so delicious, and the service is always great, too. Next up, I have to try the Thanksgiving pasty....
