La Colonia Restaurant - Minneapolis - Photo album

Came here because it’s my sisters family’s go to spot for karaoke and good Ecuadorian food. The best part? We stayed for hours for karaoke. My nieces are known by other regulars and staff are so used to them, it was such a fun environment! The food was also amazing. I can’t recall what my plate was
Food is good, not extraordinary but good. Never had Ecuadorian food so good exposure. Kind of a mix of Puerto Rico and Mexican. The soup of the day was amazing though. Service is very good especially for it being very busy and 1 hour before close. Place is a bit run down and a bit pricey
We visited La Colonia restaurant for the first time today, and we loved it! It was close to the Strike Theater, where we were seeing a show. We visited on a Friday, around 6:00, and it wasn't super busy. My husband and I ordered a plate to share, as well as an appetizer. We first got the Empanadas d
Went here for the first time to watch Colombia v Brazil and had a great experience! Food was delicious (had the Seco de Pollo, empanadas, and the llapingachos) and filling. The atmosphere was great for the match and our server was excellent; my beer was never empty!
The place is a hidden secret!!! Very delicious food. They have wine by the bottle and a bar 🍻.Very great customer service experience. Don't forget to grab a cocktail...🔥🔥🌞☀️
The food is good. As a colombian the bandeja paisa is close to the real one, except for the beans. However, the atmosphere of the place is not great nor the service. Is kind of busy during lunch and they don't have a lot of servers so we had to wait for a while for our food. Not too kid friendly eit
The food was good and had good flavor. But who ever cooked the chicharron definitely needs a little more practice I would rather throw it and use as a boomerang or a dog treat. I would definitely come back though to try a few other dishes.
Delicious food and nice service! We started with the soup of the day which was a hearty chicken vegetable. Also enjoyed empanadas and then the main attraction: Bandeja Paisa. The presentation and flavors were wonderful. Generous portions too.
This was DELICIOUS. The coconut sauce on the cod was so rich and the meats in the beef and chicken stews just fall apart. The tripe flavor was a little much for me, but everything else was top notch.
Really great food we go here a few times per year. The beef empanadas are delicious and sobreborriga with creole sauce has wonderful flavor.
