The Bad Waitress

Had a great dinner here recently. Heard some bad reviews from friends and acquaintances but wanted to check it out for ourselves. Our server who was also bartending was attentive enough and got our drinks and food out in a decent amount of time. The hashbrowns we ordered were out of this world. The burger was so so. Drinks were strong. Pricing was really good for the area. Would definitely recommend.

Came in around 11ish for a late brunch on a Saturday. Wasn’t very busy, was seated promptly. Waitress was friendly and frequented our table enough. I had the vegan scramble with tomato and onion. My boyfriend had some meat scramble. Everything was prepared as ordered. I love that they have options for all diets! Would visit again.

Bad Waitress NE was awesome! Super cool atmosphere, very kind and attentive staff, and tons of vegetarian options. I stopped in for lunch today and got the super nova kale scramble and a cup of coffee, and I loved it. The staff was incredibly welcoming and made sure to refill my coffee and water frequently, it made for a really good experience. The other reviews on Google were pretty negative, maybe they were made in their first week of being open? Not sure if Bad Waitress has done extra training or if the staff has just gotten into the swing of things, but either way, I think I found my new favorite breakfast place in NE!

Had the eggs Benedict with my first visit to the Bad Waitress. I wouldn’t go as far to say you waitress was bad but it wouldn’t hurt to smile. The eggs were good the OJ fresh, the coffee strong. Ordered two items À la cart and $$$ later we left full though lighter in the pocket book. Everything tasted fine but it breakfast.

The food was VERY tasty. The waitress/staff was very nice. The atmosphere was good and the layout made sense. It was nice and open, with beautiful large windows. It was nice and clean inside also. I prefer this location over the other location definitely even with my 3 star rating. The reason for three stars are as follows: They were out of avocados and the vegan vanilla ice cream for the vegan shakes at 11am on a Wednesday. It wasnt very busy at all and the food still took a pretty long time to get to us (it took us an hour from when we sat down until we left, food probably took about 35 minutes to get to us when the restaurant was mostly empty). They appeared to be rather understaffed, and I could definitely sense the urgency in the employees which I greatly appreciated. They also made a minor mistake and forgot an ingredient in one of our dishes, and they promptly and happily corrected when we notified them. In summation: It's worth a shot to try if you haven't been there
