Love this West Bank establishment. Have eaten here frequently for many years. Owned and staffed by great people. Highly recommend the Steaming Pile and West Bank Burger!
Best diner in town, there's almost nothing like it. Still run by Pat and his son. Always only has one employee who takes your order then makes it 30 seconds later so you can do any substitution or combination. I get the burger Manhattan style which is a hot dog topping for instance. Prices can't be beat, even cheaper than Five Guys. Watch the Diners Drive-Ins & Dives episode, Guy Fieri somehow knew this spot and came thru back in the day and it's still exactly the same. As time goes on there's fewer spots like these so you really gotta appreciate it and tip well!

Owner is an awesome and righteous dude and a family man. Has been bringing great tasting food to the west bank for decades.
Handmade burgers, hot dogs with the works, fresh cut French fries sliced from a whole potato and a laid back atmosphere.

This isn't some clout chasing wannabe. This place is a part of the community and they're the real deal.
This restaurant was doxxed by a Tiktoker for refusing to be a part of his exploitation of the homeless for views, entertainment, and money. His followers review-bombed this place with negative reviews, and no one deserves this. I hope the owner and his employees have a wonderful day, the food delicious, and no strife comes to your table.
Don’t be thrown by the name, even though the dogs are the specialty this place has excellent Phillies. 10/10 great steak for the price, strongly recommend and will definitely be back.
So, most of the bad reviews are from a video to make this place look bad. Hot dogs are very good. The people were nice and just wanted to give me a hot dog so i can be on my way, you know there job. As for the video, Most places require you to put in large orders in advance because they don't have the capacity to do it right then and there, even when they dont its a courtesy to do so. Also he refused the tip and said, why don't you use that to go feed homeless people. How does that mean he does not care about homes people?
Very tasty menu choices. Small town feel in a big city. We were in town from South Dakota and would definitely come back. Our daughter even tried to convince them to come to our town lol. Highly recommend. Daughter was able to eat vegetarian too!
All the little kids review bombing this place need to step off. Food looks great, I'm sure it tastes great and these are hard working people. Keep doing what you're doing! As a hotdog conessieur, I will definitely be stopping by for a real review.
The hot dogs and breakfast were fantastic! The prices are value deals! Awesome diner vibes! All around a great experience! We are definitely coming back to try all the other hot dogs. Currently, you can only dine outdoors.
I work down the street and eat here all of the time. I don’t eat hot dogs, so I appreciate their vegetarian dog options and if you order hash browns they grate the potatoes fresh! The best little spot!
Do not pay mind to the negative reviews here- they are lying to you and falsifying information as a result of a mindless TikTok post. This restaurant is a hidden gem of the south/central Minneapolis area and I have been going here for at least a decade. Every time I eat here I am met with nothing but friendly conversation, excellent, honest service, and delicious hot dogs. The owner is one of the most kind and genuine people I know. If you’re in the mood for one of the cities best Chicago dogs, a good hearty breakfast, or hand cut fries done to perfection, The Weinery is your place.
This place is like no other. No bells and whistles, just a small place that makes the best variety of hot dogs, breakfasts and burgers.
Their hand-cut fries are better (and cheaper) than the ones you can find at the state fair.
The guy working was super friendly, down to earth and chatted with us while we ate.

Workers were kind and the food is AWESOME! Loved the experience. The deals on food are a plus, it’s affordable and delicious. I would recommend everybody go! Went after a dude on tik tok tried to make somebody look rude, play absolutely no mind to the negativity. It’s mainly all randos online who just saw a video.

I went here a couple years back (currently in SC) while visiting family. It was great! But I just saw some nasty creator bashing it on tik tok for some clout, and I'd like to help set the record straight. The staff was incredibly nice and Accommodating!
The owner of this restaurant is an amazing and beautiful human being who has done so much for his community and continues to! I love spending time at the Wienery and eating their delicious food! I highly recommend stopping in!
