A large group of us ate here for dinner and thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and the service was amazing. We ordered a variety of plates, including appetizers and desserts. And while some were amazing (cauliflower salad, sampler appetizer, vegan chocolate cake, and specialty drinks like the telephone) there were a few dishes that fell short in what we’d hoped in terms of flavor (seafood paella was under seasoned without salt, cucumber and tomato salad was underwhelming and pistachio baclava was unexpectedly fig based). We did share this feedback with our server who shared this with the general manager. The GM was extremely understanding and comped some of these dishes and appreciated the feedback, which he relayed to chef. Overall, it was a lovely experience and nice to know that the feedback was welcome.

Extravagantly decorated restaurant with good food. Was greeted and seated right away. Ordered 3 appetizers to share and all had their own bursts of flavor. The burger buns were a little too salty though. The fries were a little too room temperature for me after coming out. I like fresh hot fries. Salmon cakes were nice and crispy. The salad was the best part for me. Would have been even better with another healthy crunch to it like cucumbers or red onions. All in all I recommend.

Food was so fresh and authentic. Portions were quite large. Cocktails were strong but well balanced. Staff was attentive and helpful. Atmosphere, decor, and ambiance were intriguing. Everything was so good, I tipped them twice!
I had the Taste of Morocco, Lambshank Confit, Telephone Call from Instanbul, Choose Your Own Adventure, and Crème Brûlée.
Would order the exact same thing if I went back. Just can’t get any better!

When we’re lucky, we have a memorable dining experience while exploring new cities. Fhima was it for our first Minneapolis trip. It was across the street from our hotel and we went to happy hour before a concert, and liked it so much we returned two nights later. Delicious food, attentive efficient and friendly wait staff and beautiful art deco surroundings. A wonderful experience.

Service is excellent—extremely attentive, friendly, and accommodating. The cocktails are an experience, each one has its own unique presentation. The food is also delicious. French/Moroccan was a very interesting concept and unlike anything I’ve tried. If you’re looking for a fancy, unique meal with 10/10 service, definitely give this place a try.

Going with 4.8 Overall. And to be fair, the only reasons for this not being a 5.0 are rather nitpicky and I will leave it at that. The atmosphere is beautiful and clean. The people and service are as good at what they do as you will find in The Twin Cities. We tried several items with our group of four including cocktails, an appetizer, main courses and dessert. Fhima's is a cuisine-based menu, so a lot of items utilize flavors, spices, herbs that represent authenticity. There is a lot of flavor and for some folks, certain items might be a bit of a dining adventure. There is however plenty that is not that but just great food. If you want a top quality and non-generic dining experience in Minneapolis this is the place.

Made reservations for a friend fresh off the plane from Casablanca. He described it as Moroccan food with a flair. We really enjoyed the Lamb cigars. Waitstaff was excellent.

We went for a friend's birthday and have only good things to say about our experience at Fhima's! They even brought out champagne and a little birthday for the birthday lady!
Everything was amazing, the drinks unique and fun. The appetizer we had was lovely and delicious. Our meals were decadent and appetizing. The flavors were lovely and opened up our palettes!
Great service!
Highly recommend - I think we'll be back to try brunch soon!

Accidentally ended up here after being turned away at another place. This turned out much better than my original plan. Super attentive and professional servers, over the top cocktails and my double patty burger was juicy and flavourful. Highly recommend!

Friends and I visited Fhimas on a Saturday evening. Cool atmosphere. It was busy, reservations recommended. We sat and had drinks at the bar while we waited. The service was decent, I felt they were a little impatient with our party. Food was good. Overall a satisfied for a first visit.

Awesome!!! The drink service at the table for the Train to Istanbul is a must see because you just won’t see it anywhere else..definitely get the Mediterranean sampler and order as many extra pita as you think you can eat..over 100 year old starter for the Pita makes it melt in your mouth..black cod was rich and delicious, wagyu filet melted in our mouths and salmon was great..save room for the Creme brûlée served at table and the unique way they brûlée with a hot iron rather than torching it..wow wow wow

Valentines dinner with my love and wow this place is cool! Great Gatsby vibes with impressive decor and beautiful lighting. The service is unbelievable - I think we interacted with 6 different people. The place is a well oiled machine. The food was pretty dang good, but for the price point it didn’t completely knock my socks off. For that reason I wouldn’t be in a rush to go back, but it’s fun for a fancy night out. Great cocktails too!

Brought my fiancé here for Valentine’s Day and their tasting menu. I’ve heard great things about their food and service.
Upon arrival we were greeted right away and led to our table upstairs overlooking the main area. The decor was vintage, almost felt like an old hotel which we both thought was awesome. Our service was also great as everyone we met was friendly and informative.
The tasting menu was $300 for both of us and included 6 courses. The Asparagus with meringue was an interesting flavor combination - not the most favorite thing. 2nd course was the Oyster Rockefeller which was also okay, too much cheese took away the flavor from the oyster. Next up was the Lamb which unfortunately both of our cuts contained a lot of fat and cartilage rending them almost inedible. However upon mentioning this to our server Lindsay, she immediately apologized and brought us the Waygu Tenderloin (best thing we had that night and would comeback just for this). Next course was Lobster Tail with gnocchi and this was both of our favorite dish from the whole menu. The only improvement here would be to serve on a different plate/bowl. It was cumbersome to cut and dig our food out of a deeper dish (see pics). The last entree was the beef cheek which was a bit salty but overall nice and tender, full of flavor. Dessert was okay, a nice chocolate balloon with a couple pieces heart shaped short cake. I did also have their house Old-Fashioned (actually 2 haha) which was smoked by the table and was delicious.
Overall we had great customer service and enjoyed our evening. However the food menu left us wanting more… An additional nice touch we’ve experienced with tasting menus prior is education on what the dish is and its ingredients.
Food Rating - 4 (for the money) but the service brought this up to a 5 for us.

I did a pick up order while in a huge winter storm and on a normally-would-be-busy Friday night, it was very slow due to the weather. While I waited for the food, the staff were lovely, so friendly and warm (on a cold day too!).
The order was quite large and absolutely fantastic! The seafood was some of the best I've had.
The atmosphere of the place was intimate and upscale. The booths had large privacy curtains if needed and the ceiling is quite tall, lovely design and detail!
I would love to have a dine-in meal here, and soon!

Fhima’s was picked by my husband for my birthday. I loved the atmosphere, menu and the service. Good mix of Mediterranean, French and Moroccon tastes. It is a good place to celebrate a special occasion. We had lamb cigars, taste of Morocco and grandma’s paella. We were more than full as two with two appetizers and one entree.Lamb cigar was very different but balanced the different spices greatly. With taste of Morocco, they bring awesome, freshly cooked pitas. At the end we ordered eclairs bomb which was not like regular usa desserts. It was not very sweet with great creme inside. They also served macaron from the house as it was my birthday and served it greatly. I recommend also having dessert there as it is very European tasted and using great ingredients. Last but not list, they have a great list of wines and house cocktails. Telephone call from Istanbul is a great version of Midwestern old fashioned and served with a great show.

So great! Had rabbit with risotto and it was so good. I never had rabbit before so I recommend giving it a try. My boyfriend got the Wagyu Tenderloin and it was divine! The drinks are so good and the wait staff is amazing. Chris was so attentive and handled our every need. Another waiter, Tanner stopped to talk to us and make sure it went well.

We had such a great experience at Fhima’s. The vibe from the staff was they were happy to be there and were passionate about the food and drinks they served. Travis was our server and he is the kind of server you will request to have when you come back to the restaurant. The sommelier was awesome because he came over to our table right away, asked my wine preferences, and offered to do a wine flight for me. The flavor of all the dishes packed a flavor punch in the best way. This chef clearly takes his food seriously, as the pigeon pie was not being offered because it was not up to his standards (we will be back to try that for sure). Overall, an outstanding dining experience and we will definitely be back.
