I had the Mo-town chili burger and cheese curds (which i enjoyed more without the ranch, but thays just me). Quick, cooked to order service. The staff engaged with everyone coming in. Good vibe.

Little dive burger joint with great food. The coney and slaw dog were awesome. The Cajun seasoning on the fries are a must. I'll be going back a lot for sure.

Uncle Frankys is a perfect example of a great hole in the wall joint with a mom and pop diner vibe to it. The place isn't big, the cook is at most 10-12ft away from you cooking your food which is awesome. Let's talk about the service first. The gal taking orders behind the counter clearly likes what she does. She was enthusiastic and helpful with everything she did. The food was cooked quick and served in right away. The taste was true to "Chicago style", dragged through the garden, topped with everything etc. Presentation was wonderful, had my mouth watering right away. Pricing was what you would expect, nothing over the top imo. This menu is a good size, I will definitely be back to try more. Definitely make a stop in here if you're looking for a good bite to eat.

All I can say is Chicago Dog! It’s so good. I got it with tots. Everything is fresh, tasty, and affordable. Portions are generous. The staff is friendly and engaging with enjoyable Chicago schtick. Very clean and nice tables. It’s not health food, but it is good. Glad Uncle Franky’s in the neighborhood!

Best hot dogs in the city! No comparison! Chili is top notch as well, and who has local craft soda in their fountain. Best diet cola I have ever had. Looks like nothing, couldn't be more the opposite

Great food. Just wish they cleaned off the tables in-between customers. We went in the place and it was packed. We were the last ones to leave, and instead of her cleaning off the tables before new guests came in, she was on her phone. We had to sit at a dirty table.

The staff here is awesome and so much fun! We really got a kick out of them. The food is really good and was impressed on how yummy it was. They also have local made craft soda on tap which is very good as well. The place may look a little rough but it just adds to the character I think it puts it in the category of a wonderful dive bar but without alcohol. We will be back for more yummy food!

One of the best hole in the wall burger places in the twin cities. Everything is a perfect balance - not too greasy but still enough for that classic taste. Cheese curds have a significant crunch that I feel has been missing from other places. And the fries go toe-to-toe with the best fries out there. I'd add a photo of a burger but I couldn't put it down.

Love my uncle frankie's! Big fan of any dog but I'll take crispy chicken sandwich or the Philly cheese steak sandwich. I will always suggest to get a pizza puff to newbies. Nice outdoor seating if the weathers right. I only wish i could order a nice cold hard drink here is my only minor gripe. 3 skips and a hop away ill have to come back here sooner than later

It's a little Hidden Gem in Northeast Minneapolis. The hot dogs are amazing! I haven't tried a burger yet there. The fries were just okay next time I will definitely order the tots. Great people working there. It has a small patio outside. The inside is tiny but the bathrooms were clean. Highly recommend for a bite to eat that's priced right!

I got to say this place can be quite fun a little joint with a group of friends. The food reminds me of bar/carnival food, but it does have a lot of options for hot dogs. I enjoyed having so many options. The staff was super friendly and personable. It is a family restaurant, and we can really feel the family vibe when we walk in. The cooks were up front and center conserving with the customers. We even got free tatter tots because they made too many extras. There were two items that were not on the menu. One of them was jalapeños poppers and I forgot the other one. The poppers were filling.
The atmosphere was in the between a hole-in-wall and a fast food restaurant like McD. It had plenty of parking spots, and they probably received many regulars that just walked through from the front door to the back door. There were cute hand drawn pictures on the wall. It looks like kids made those drawings. And it was nice that it was showcased.
The fountain drinks are from an MN based company, and they taste very similar to the name branded ones. They also have canned sodas too.

Being from Pittsburgh I've had hundreds of steak hoagies. Lived in MN 18 years never had a good steak hoagie up here till today. Uncle Frankie's has hands down best steak hoagie made right. The staff was super friendly and I'm still not sure if they doubled the meat or that's the actual portion because it felt like about 3 lbs of meat in that hoagie. Big pile of cheese, peppers meat on a toasted hoagie. Perfection.

Excellent service, friendly staff, food is made very quickly. Only had a Chicago dog, but will be back to try the rest of the menu for sure. Would like it if they had fresh cut fries, not frozen from us foods, but this is a dive Chicago style eatery.

This place screams NorthEast Mpls - they have the best fries & malts around!! The fried pickles are up there as well. My burger was cooked perfectly with everything on it I like :) The kids hot dog meal with a juice Box was a great price! Family Oriented and Happy Staff - cannot beat it

I used to get the Philly cheesesteak ( AMAZZZZZING) but sadly I stopped eating meat recently and tried the veggie burger aka "Meatless Wonder" ... omg I thought I was eating an actual burger... it was delicious. The cook is great, everything is great. My favorite hole in the wall.

Awesome place! It was my first experience at Uncle Franky's and they had Great service and delicious grub! The cashier was super personable and the chef kept up with the busy lunch pace very well (and solo I might add. Very impressive) I'll be going back for sure! 🌭🍔

Best dogs in town! Overflowing with goodness, friendly service, great location next to Able Brewery so you can get food and bring it over there to eat it with some great beer to wash it down, gotta love NE!
