Waiting time is usually longer but the food makes up to it. Have had couple of dinners with friends and came back satisfied. They have a good choice for vegetarians, which helped us in selecting this place. Prices are decent and quantity served are nice. Will definitely go again.
I have never been to a Murder Mystery Dinner and that finally changed a week ago. The kind folks at Murder Mystery Company from Minneapolis invited me to attend one of their shows and it was quite an experience. I didn’t know what to expect. I knew that we would be solving a murder mystery but wasn’t sure of what it all entails. It was exciting in a way not to know what to expect. We were given a small briefing before the show officially started and as the show progressed more instructions followed.
One of the best pesto salads I have ever had. Plus the spaghetti is also too good (specially when you are a vegetarian). Beautiful ambience, very tastefully done
I celebrated my 45th birthday at the Old Spaghetti Factory yesterday with my boyfriend. The meal (spaghetti with Sicilian meatballs) was very tasty and everything that I had hoped for, and the service was excellent. The waiter came back a couple of times to make sure that we had everything we wanted and were enjoying our meal. Also, after we told the waiter that it was my birthday, he came back with the manager and another employee of the restaurant, and they brought me my dessert (Neapolitan ice cream) with a candle in the middle of it, and they all sang happy birthday to me. That made my day, and it showed me that they really cared that I had an enjoyable experience. I would recommend this to anyone who likes spaghetti and wants the royal treatment.
Good Food, Great Value. LOVE this place! The menu offers a wide variety of meal choices and their dinner combo is such a great value! For around $10-15 you get unlimited milk/tea, a dinner salad, endless bread & butter, the pasta dish of your choice, and ice cream for dessert. What's more, the interior is decorated in antique-style furniture and lighting. Very cool and very reasonably priced.
Was in search of a fairly inexpensive dinner for 3 adults & a 3yr old- this was perfect- service was fast enough that the kiddo didn't get restless & the adults enjoyed a good meal! Kiddo cleared his plate!

Lunch menu is perfectly sized, perfectly priced. I was able to treat my kids to a delicious Italian meal without breaking the bank. Service was exceptional.
Solid meal at a good price. I'm confused by the negative reviews as OSF has always been a decent place to get a full meal at a price that won't break the bank. I admit, often times the service could be a lot more attentive, but this is far from a fancy dining spot, so reflect your disappointment in the tip. I love their minestrone soup and could eat it every day! You can see it is made fresh as the ingredients are never soggy. All the meals include drink, bread w/ garlic butter, soup or salad, your entree, and a scoop of ice cream. Most meals are under $15 and the pasta dishes have the option to "super size" it should you have any really hungry people in the group. I often opt for the Manager's special, which is a bowl of pasta and your choice of two sauces. They also do Italian Sodas in keepsake glasses while good, are probably not worth getting more than once for the novelty. If the wait times were ever shorter we would head to OSF more often and be very happy!
Good Pasta, Small Portions. Marinara is one of the strengths of the Old Spaghetti Factory restaurants, but do not expect to fill up. The portions are not as large as they could be. I always leave wanting more. The restaurant is nicely done, and the service was good.
I don't know who writes these reviews, X employees maybe but we have never had a bad meal or experience. Service is very friendly. Food is above par.
Get those drunks under control!. I can't believe the language decent families (with young children) are subjected to. People like to get wasted here and shout as loud as possible, it doesn't matter if it's 5:30 PM. The staff will never ask groups to calm down. Even if the patrons are falling into your table as they make their way to the bathroom to relieve themselves of too much beer. I used to really like this place, but the last three (3) times I have had to speak with staff with no results. Mothers, sons and daughters shouldn't have to hear the F-word S-word N-word or any other offensive language while trying to eat raviolis and spumoni!
Fast and friendly service. The food was amazing and very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend stopping in for a bite to eat anytime you are in the area. They have fun beverages for kids and adults. And the three course meal isn't complete until you eat your ice cream!
This is just another Spaghetti Warehouse. But, is pretty good food for the $$. Cool interior design with an old brick town feel to the place. The service was very good. Big place, was expecting a waiting list on a Friday night but got seated right away. Food, really good! Came with fresh bread right out of the oven. Soup or salad and spumoni ice cream for dessert comes with your meal. It is NOT all you can eat nor do they have a salad bar. All & all a good family restaurant.
Food was very good. Service was great. We arrived at 7pm on a busy Saturday night. The two of us were seated and served in under one hour. Many comments about the service. They must be listening. We had a very good experience in a really beautiful building. Kids will love the cotton candy limeade.
Beautiful building and decor. I had the spinach and cheese raviolis very good. Mills were also served with bread, soup or salad and and ice cream for dessert. Everything was very good I would go back
Best Italian food in Minneapolis downtown.... Best spaghetti pasta and an amazing salad with ranch dressing .... Don't miss the bread and butter as they kinda serve so yummy breads right from the oven .... Kinda remind me of Olive garden ... Very classy Ambience too
We went on a Sunday before a football game so it was veryyyy busy and had a long wait but boy was it worth it!! It was our first time there. Cannot wait to go back with the kids. Such a gorgeous place!
Went there before they closed...well worth the wait. We only had to wait about 30 minutes to get seated, but took a while to get our food and drinks. They were running out of things but due to them closing soon.
Excellent fried pickles, lasagna, and the free Italian bread were all amazing. Whether the Italian fare is Americanized or not, all of the food were very tasty. I thought the fried pickles with the special dipping sauce really hit it out of the park and was a lot better than the fried pickles from the State Fair. Definitely coming back soon.
Beautiful place. Looks really fancy but the price is good. $14.50 for a 3 course meal included fresh baked bread, classic meat ball spaghetti and ice cream. Highly recommend.
This is a local treasure. Such a neat environment food is what I expected rich high calorie count pasta but I knew what I was signing onto. They are shutting the doors I heard in August so per staff there were a few items not available but hey calamari in MN isnt always smart so that was fine. The ideal would be if another restaurant takes the space and kicks it up a notch. Will wait to see maybe what I heard was wrong and boy I would be pleased with that too.
Had the baked Lasagna we only got 1 loaf of bread should of got 2. And our shrimp scampi was not available but overall great time and great meal. Manager seemed amazing.
Decent price and tasty food! Great atmosphere, comfortable.
Loved this place. They also have amazing bread
