Great bar in Dinky town, stylish, super cool space and lovely staff. Loved the Juke Box too as had some great bands namely Happy Monday's, Interpol and the Stone Roses. Lovely beers on draft, didn't eat but the menu looked fantastic. Will be back!

As a parent of a college athlete, you have to take what you can get when the team is in town. I took on the challenge of planning the dinner for an entourage of 25 from the team and 15 parents (40 total). The staff at Loring Bar & Restaurant were simply amazing..... "yes" was their default answer....even on a short 10 day notice for a Saturday Dinner! Not only were we able to eat together on the west mezzanine, but we were able to order off the menu (no fixed menu!). The timing from cocktails/social hour to food was impeccable, the food was amazing, service was professional and friendly and the environment was a hit! We received compliments from so many in attendance and not one complaint. Thank you so much, we will be back! GO HAWKS!

The weekend brunch buffet was great! A huge selection with many egg, meat, and veg-friendly options. Great live music during brunch, too!

Great Bartenders, friendly staff and overall great experience. I was happy to stumble upon their grand re-opening. I had originally planned on going their for Transmission that night at 9, but came earlier for the celebration. Well done staff on what seemed like a successful opening!

Found a street parking spot for a Friday night 6pm dinner reservation for three. Used the Minneapolis parking App. I could tell it had been busy before we arrived with students/families attending graduation and I'm guessing it would get more busy later in the evening. So we found the quiet time between. Food and drinks were good. Staff were friendly. Interesting decor and fun atmosphere.

I come to the Loring every Wednesday at 7 for the free MRDR Room comedy show in the upstairs "Red Room", and I always have a great time. The staff are always friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is warm and comfortable, and the food/drinks are superb. This is an excellent place made better by the fact that it is employee owned and operated!

I had a brunch with my friends for my birthday and the brunch buffet was delicious! Waffles and French toast were my favorites! Fruits are also tasty. The bottomless mimosas are worth the price if you want mimosas too. The bathrooms look like you walked into Alice in Wonderland. I didn't take pictures of my food, but hopefully the bathroom will entice you to go to Grey's. Overall a great experience!

Graduated from the U in '05, but never dine here until last week. The happy hour menu was very enjoyable. The mussels in bourbon sauce was fantastic. We slurped on all the sauce.

Super cute and spacious coffee shop. The old time- brick- art vibe is perfect for any meeting, homework, or hangout.

Good service. We were running a little late for our reservation, but we called and they were very gracious about holding our table for us. Food was very good, but not amazing. Drinks took about 15 minutes to come out, and were fairly small for the price (our cocktails cost more than our entrees). Very cool building.

Happened to be there with my family. Enjoyed the food and live music. Some folks danced to the classical tango music as well.

I went in skeptical but was blown away with my experience! Lynn made us feel welcome and went above and beyond what was expected. She gave us a tour, told us stories about the restaurant, employees and made us feel extremely welcome! We all enjoyed our meals: Oklahoma burger, grilled cheese/tomato, and Ecuadorian pork. We will definitely return when visiting our daughter!

spacious and nicely decorated restaurant. we went for the buffet brunch here and with student discount, it was $16. some of their food was very good- pasta, sausage, bacon, flat bread pizza. But other items were pretty normal. it was my first time here and i probably won’t come back again. for the price i paid, I’d probably go somewhere with a better and more unique brunch options. but in saying that, definitely give this place a try if you’re looking to fill your stomach

Great food and a great value. The one problem I have had here is with service consistency. Water/drinks take a while to get, and silverware often must be asked for, whether using the brunch buffet or dinner service. It's also a little hard to flag down servers, and today, my table was waiting about 15 minutes for our brunch wristbands before a server told us they were out of them, after bringing us our drinks. Would still recommend, though.
