The steak was amazing, and our waitress was great. They have a full whiskey tasting menu and wonderfully crafted cocktails. A must go

WOW! My boyfriend and I celebrated our 3 year anniversary here and I am so happy we did. The service was phenomenal even with the restaurant being full, I wish I remembered the servers name because he was amazing, attentive, and kind. The food was outstanding, we had the cheese curds and the 1/2 pig head. If you’re planning on dining here on a weekend, I recommend making a reservation, as we saw many people get turned away due to the existing reservations. I highly recommend Wood + Paddle!

Overall a good experience. As the bill shows I had pork chop. I really enjoyed. It had Smokey flavour but not burned. My friend had th half chicken. Was very complimentary about it. The wait staff over worked. I had 6 beers basically the entire menu. I liked them. Noisy but not buzzing. So simple food (expensive) but good draft beers.

We came and had an absolutely wonderful meal. Our server, Jacob was so pleasant and overall great. We met Willy (manager) and he was so kind and we swapped a few military stories. My fiancée got the smoked pork chop. It was one of the better I have ever had. Notably smokey, so if you like that, definitely a winner. The mustard cream sauce was light, as I don’t normally like mustard. My brother in law and I got the steak frites, and we split our filet and strip in half. The filet was delicate, melt in your mouth, and the strip was meaty, yet tender and tasty. Served with fries and an out of this world rosemary aioli. We ordered extra fries so we didn’t waste a bit of it. Cocktails were aesthetically pleasing, and super tasty. A pricey dinner to be certain, but so worth it. We will be back!

Ordered the ribeye option with potatos. Was not disappointed the meat was well seasoned and delicious. I had a bite of my friend's pork chop and was also very impressed. Service was great. A merry mood was had.

This was a last minute choice for me but I’m happy I ended up having breakfast here. I had the steak and eggs. They have a house steak sauce which is delicious, it has a hint of horseradish. They also source most items locally including the cry baby Craig’s hot sauce. The venue is beautiful and they have 2 private dining rooms available for bookings. The manager Kristin is lovely and hospitable please stop by and tell her I sent you! Enjoy!

We had a great dinner last night. It was the first day of a new menu, and it didn't disappoint! The food was really good and beautifully presented. The service by Jacob was stellar. The space is roomy and while the restaurant was busy, the acoustics were good and it was perfect being able to hear a conversation. We'll be back!

We had a delightful dinner with friends at Wood + Paddle. Service was great, although our server definitely seemed a little bit new. The menu was a refreshing mix of items you can't get elsewhere and staples. The pork chop was perfectly seasoned and well cooked. The bison burger was spicy. And the cocktail menu was fun.

We have been basically everywhere in MSP. My wife and I have lived downtown for more than 3 years. This place is a quiet gem. Cocktails are fantastic, and the food is 9/10 all the way around. I am surprised we haven’t been here yet, and we will return. The purposeful cooking deserves a try for all food enthusiasts. The chef does a great job balancing acidity and even spices with certain dishes. A must try. We did mushroom croquettes, goat cheese beets (kind of a salad), Brussels sprouts, and pheasant stroganoff (a must). Cheers!

I really liked the look and feel of the place. Our waiter was super fun, and attentive. The food was good, but not what I was hoping for. The W+P burger had good flavor, but the patty was dry and thin. The Duck Confit stroganoff was good, but there wasn't much depth to it. Their Zero alcohol cocktails were very interesting, we actually asked our server to confirm there was no alcohol in them. Worth a try for sure.
