Logan’s Place

4.5 Stars - a cute restaurant in the heart of downtown Mineola. We came well after the lunch rush and before the dinner rush. So our food came out quickly. We order an appetizer that was like a tater tot times two. Three sauces to choose from for dipping two of which were already on your “tot.” Lunch was good, I was pleased to see they had a vegetarian section and order a grilled cheese and mushroom sandwich. The mushrooms were delicious and could have been made even better with a little tomato. My husband ordered a mushroom Swiss burger that was good as well. Our server did a great job and was not hovering too much or inattentive. We would return.

Well decorated, quaint, and comfortable restaurant. The front entry door faces the Mineola train station. We were greeted quickly on arrival. Staff was attentive and friendly. Beer and wine options are good, with craft selections available in a can. Food arrived appropriately after ordering. Starter house salad tasted fresh. I had the salmon and "veggies" (only sauted yellow squash). My meal was cooked well and tasted good. My wife ordered the buffalo chicken wrap. Her plate looked great but must have sat under a heat lamp while mine was finishing up, because she said it had good flavor but didn't taste fresh. Overall, we enjoyed the dinner and will go back and try it again. I really liked the atmosphere!

Had a 1:00 lunch with a friend on a Wednesday. Easy to find parking. Nice atmosphere. Restaurant initially looked about 80% full. Friendly and attentive host seated us after a 5 minute wait. Sat for over 15 minutes before drink order taken. Once we had a waitress the service was excellent and the food was out quickly. Flavors and temperature of food was spot on. Generous portions. We ordered the Grilled Shrimp Wrap with Chips and Loaded Fries. Will definitely visit again.
