I had the sliced beef with green beans and corn on the cob.....nothing was spectacular....
The free pinto beans was the best thing about it..
The only thing I can say is the sliced beef wasn't fatty so that's a plus.....it could have been smoked longer......serving size was ok....kids behind the counter were being just that, kids.
I'll probably pass on this establishment next time I'm in town....

Love that this place has free pinto beans. Had a bit of turkey and brisket slices. Corn on cob was cooked juicy and delicious. Green beans were from a can. Not bad but OK. The table sauce is a spicy more than sweet BBQ sauce. Really liked that. Turkey was juicy as well as brisket and great flavor. My son loved the ribs. Been here many times over the years but never left a good review. Staff was very nice and courteous. Thanks ol West.

Ol West BBQ has some good food. The service is fast, and the prices not bad. Decor of the restaurant is pretty cool, and it's very clean. Enjoyed my visit and would suggest it to anybody that wanted some good BBQ and sides.

It was awesome. Really friendly staff. Try the red bottle bbq!!!! Could use red bottle with flames!!!! Seriously good.

The food was great. Everything you expect when paying for BBQ. The meat was flavored enough to not require the BBQ sauce and wasn't seasoned too much that you have to wash it down with a drink. The slaw was perfect and the green beans didn't disappoint. Definitely worth the detour when traveling the i20 corridor past Minden.

For me, the brisket needed more seasoning .(wife would have loved it.), beans great taste, could have been cooked longer. (Fixed that in the microwave.) Great sausage and potato salad. Got my money's worth and would go back. The old saying, "Different strokes for different folks" applies to everything these days.

Barbeque was pretty good with ample sides on combos. A little pricey but I guess with the economy the way it is everyone's having to charge a little more.
