My friends and I all love this place..huge portions, great service. food prepared your way in a family filled environment. Good bye Grove
Hale's served me one of the best breakfasts I've ever had in a restaurant. Ordered corned beef hash, stuffed hash browns and rye toast, all of which was absolutely fantastic. The hash was just the right crisp on the outside without being overdone and was very flavorful. The stuffed hash browns put those of other places serving them to complete shame, and the rye toast wasn't burnt as it usually is by some chains and served with a delicious spread. The eggs served with the meal were fluffy and perfectly cooked. I've had better coffee, but for just under 3 dollars to keep your cup full throughout your meal, I'm not complaining. The restaurant itself offers a friendly, homey atmosphere with staff who know what they're doing and who maintain their friendly demeanor well. The place is well kept, clean and bright. I would highly, highly recommend this place to anybody in the area looking for a delicious, hearty breakfast or brunch for a reasonable price. Their menu is very extensive as well for all times of day without being too overwhelming, and they offer many other items I would surely like to try in the future! Thank you, Hale's, for such a wonderful experience!
Are they busy? Heck yeah, and for a good reason. The food is amazing! The french toast was perfect, the omelet was filled with cheese and meat, the only thing was the pancakes looked a little over cooked but my wife still loved them. The service was quick, don't let a line at the door deter you. I don't think you should expect to come here and sit around for a few hours, this place likes to turn tables so that others don't have to wait long. All in all I love this place, there is also a location in Hillsboro if your out that way, its a lot bigger.
