Great service. Food was very good. Two burgers and the open face vegetable sandwich which was delicious without the bread (just a suggestion..to much bread) . I guess the burgers were supposed to be bigger? So they gave my husband and son double patties. That was very nice and we needed up taking the burgers home because it was so much food. We had an enjoyable experience and celebrated our 26 wedding anniversary.
This was the first time back after about 15 years or so and I thought it was remodel with the new ownership but everything looked the same. At least in the main room.

Good food, great patio to enjoy with friends, friendly staff. The tater tots are delicious, ask for them instead of fries! The 'medium rare' salmon listed in at least 3 dishes on the menu came medium well, so it disappointed.

We came in to try the fish fry around 530. We started with both the turkey dumpling soup and the clam chowder. Both were excellent. My husband said his cod was a bit underdone and greasy/soggy. After eating his he finished mine which even he said was cooked perfectly. He absolutely loved the potato pancakes. The service was good, although I finished my dinner before my second drink arrived. The atmosphere was better than I remembered although it did get really loud from the bar area. We are going to return to try the burgers soon.

Been looking for an excellent fish fry. Silver Sping house has that! The cod was very fresh and flavorful! They serve 3 large pieces to start couldn't eat anymore but would have liked too! Tasty potato pancakes, plentiful and tasty fries. They make a fine old fashioned! My Hubby enjoyed everything also. Looking forward to going back for Monday fried chicken, Taco Tuesday and the rest😁 Great service too.

The owner Dave was very friendly and came to our table to introduce himself & Thank us for our business. He told us about his beautiful artwork that was displayed everywhere. Went for dinner on a not-very-busy weeknight. The building itself is old but the restaurant had a very bright, welcoming vibe. Popcorn on the tables was a nice touch.
It took a very long time for us to get our food. But when our meals finally did arrive they tasted good and were worth the wait. Apparently this place is under relatively new ownership and they seem to still be working out some of the kinks.
Our server, Quinnton, was the reason I'm leaving a 5-star review. He was very attentive & personable, and he did a great job of communicating with us on when we'd be getting our food. That was out of his control, but he still wanted to make sure we were having a positive experience without dwelling on the fact that we were waiting. Keep up the good work.

Great revised menu with a few favorite sandwiches, burgers, etc. to choose from. Hot food was hot. Cold food served cold. Service was friendly without being overly fussy. Glad we came back! Keep up the good work. Onion rings were awesome...

Prices very reasonable, interesting vibe in the restaurant, wait staff very nice. They even humored us by laughing at our corny jokes. The only reason I'm giving it a 4 is because my burger was a bit dry and a teensy over cooked for my request (medium), it was more like well done. The burger was tasty, but could have used some sort of sauce on it. Like mayo or even a drop of thousand island or something. (I ordered the silver spring house burger)

I stopped for lunch with a friend. The music was an eclectic playlist and it matched the establishment. The waitstaff was very friendly and attentive. The food was great. I got a chicken salad sandwich, which was really good. And the price was just right. Overall, this is a great place. I will have to go back at night, and see how it is.
