First look at this place feels like a time lapse to 90's and the place from outside looked old and i had to check by google maps twice to confirm that i was in the right place. however the food changed my perspective about the place. We walked in and ordered pot stickers, egg rolls, son dong Chow mein, son dong fried rice and Black sauce with chow mein. Surprise Surprise they gave a huge portion of everything. i was expecting a small sized pot sticker with a little filling inside but this was a big and and a good portion of filling in it. We did not ask for more spice in the food so it was okay, and so when asked for spicy sauce that was the kick that missing. i think the spice sauce is house recipe unlike other place they offer Sriracha for spicy sauce. Ambiance this place still has the old tables and chairs[those are heavy chairs me likey]. This place has reviews from 1993, 94 and 95 by Milwaukee Journal on the walls and lots of laughing Buddha idols and one big laughing Buddha statue i'm sure if you go there you will not miss it. Overall new experience and i like it more towards to the food.

I would recommend to my friends for a Chinese food.
Hot braised pork and beef with broccoli were both delicious. Asked for the hot braised pork to be prepared spicy and I was not disappointed.
Prepared quickly by a friendly staff.
You HAVE to try their Sand Dong Beef
It may look run down but its a good place for oriental food
Order the crabmeat Rangoon appetizer Mongolian Beef lunch size, Three Choice delight lunch size and a shrimp fried rice. All was great! Would order from again. For lunch time, it was ready in 20 minutes from placing the order.
Don’t judge a book by its cover!! Hands down one of the best Korean Chinese food in town with huge portion, building is old but clean. Friendly staff and fast service
This is the best twice cooked pork and Beijing chicken I have ever had. The Kimchi is good, too. Homemade noodle dishes are outstanding.
Always friendly, ALWAYS fresh. San Dong has been a favorite with my family for over 10 years. I can't think of anywhere else in the city I'd rather get authentic and tasty food from. Never greasy or oily, I've enjoyed their fried rice, rangoon, and other dishes for over a decade. A little unassuming, perhaps, but worth the trip.
San Dong Express consistently exceeds our expectations for delicious, fresh, and expertly prepared food. Service is always friendly and efficient. The dining room has a big happy buddha in it, which I love. The tables and chairs are always clean.
Super shout out for the homemade noodles and Kan Cha Jang (Beef with vegetables & black sauce). I could seriously eat this everyday. It's $11.95 for a very generous portion, a big bowl of spaghetti-like noodles with a big side bowl of the beef, veggies, and black sauce. The pot stickers are also amazing. 6 big homemade pot stickers, deep fried and served with a perfect umami-like sauce. The hot & sour soup, Pepper chicken, Chap Chae, beef fried rice, Mongolian beef, and Cha Jang Myun (pork, seafood, vegetable & black sauce) also deserve an honorable mention.

Called to order but no one answered. Read that they make the food quick so I drove to store and ordered to go. Garlic chicken is amazing. Ready in about 5 minutes freshly cooked.
I was surprised how quick and freshly cooked it was, and they were really nice to me! I think dude even checked the bus schedule for me or something, it was cool. The cabbage in my egg roll was stringy but it was yummy. Highly recommended! Will return soon!
My family claims that they have the world's most delicious pot stickers. The food is always fresh and flavorful.

We had the place to ourselves so that was a unique experience. Noodles do make a difference!
First time here. I have been driving past this place for years finally went and it was very good, And the worker was very nice. It was also very clean inside. Resonable prices and serving size was good. Will be back.
