Ashley's Bar-b-que

I love the catfish, which was crusty and flaky, with lower salt than other places. Yams/sweet potatoes had a really nice nutmeg taste and they weren't overly sweetened. Mac and cheese isn't the saucy type, but the cheese was noticable. And they use she'll macaroni, a nice touch. Fries were crunchy outside and flavorful. My husband's rib tips disappeared fast, but his dressing (purchased separately) was dry. It had herbs and something I remember from my childhood, but can't name. All told, it was a very enjoyable dinner. Update 5.6.23. I had pork chops this time - fantastic! Light breading and tender to perfection. This is now my favorite chop restaurant.

I made it to Ashley's 15 minutes to opening and I left at 1130. I was putting an order of a pan of ribs..she quoted a price of 47.59 then she later told me that was the wrong price then quoted me another price of 135.59. my total came out to be 144.58. I couldn't understand why it took so long to put my order in and why the taxes was so high. Once the owner came in re did my order and told me it was gratuity. I had no problem paying gratuity..I didn't know you pay gratuity for a pick up.

Have not been here due to Covid it was just to crowed. So I decided to try them because Speed Queen drive thru was closed n there Dine In was crowded. I ordered tips here there were nice n tender until when I warm up them next day at the bottom I notice few burnt n bones. I will go back again they are better than Speed Queen just need to cut that bone at the top of the tips
