We went there to toast the end of an era! My wife and I met there back in 1989 and now they are closing. Thanks for all the good times! Good luck Marty and Susanne on your new lifes!

I can't believe that I haven't reviewed Benno's!
I am all kinds of good with this place.
Fantastic craft beer selection.
I went with North Coast Brewing's Rasputin Imperial Stout. Sign me up.
I had the Fried Catfish. Lightly breaded. Oh so good. Homemade fries were out of this world. Make sure you get the sriracha.
Service was fantastic.
Very reasonable prices.
We will be back

Good place with great staff and an owner that tends to all the customer's cares. They have a beer selection that's second to none as well as daily food specials. Highly recommended whenever you're in the area.

Stopped in 2 minutes before the grill closed, and was still allowed to order food. Chicken taco was the biggest taco we've ever seen... Burger was excellent and the buffalo tots kept the cold beers go down easy. We've never had a bad meal here.

When I moved to Tosa, I was worried I wouldn't find a bar as good as the one I was a regular at with my girlfriend. However, since I was introduced to Benno's I haven't had anything to worry about. This bar has incredible food and the beer selection is even better. Their daily specials make any day worth coming and their 10oz tap tour is a fun twist on exploring different beers. It's got the rustic atmosphere that makes it nice to be at with the kind of people that know you as if you where in Cheers.

Needs some interior updating but a decent beer selection. $7 for a tap beer in West Allis is more than a little steep though. I thought I was in Chicago for a second. I love supporting a local business and all but the truth is, Brass Tap on Layton has a better selection with better prices. Especially you're heading there solely for the tap selection.

Bennos is the perfect neighborhood bar. It has one of the best craft beer selections (wide selection that isn't weighted too heavily on just one style) paired with a good kitchen.
The poutine and the home-made cheesecake are the two menu items that are "must have"s - just not at the same time.
If you try their beer flight special, bring a couple friends and set aside a few hours.

Oh man, this place is a perfect cozy little place to drink a tasty brew, eat some comfort food. The server was super helpful. And out of 40 taps, you get 6 flavors per flight. Would definitely come again.

I often order the Friday baked cod with almond slivers. Last night I ordered the same and it was just as good as always. However, the fries were soggy and not quite done. A family member order battered cod with tator tots. Those were both reportedly good.
If you don't already know, Benno's has an extensive beer list. I highly recommend stopping in for that too!
