Amazing experience for hibachi! The chef was entertaining and hard working. The food was fantastic. It was well cooked and presented well. Our family enjoyed the experience and look forward to going again.
Overall, it was a good meal.
The only thing I did not enjoy was the salad dressing and the size of the pieces of letuce. Also, without a knife the salad was hard to eat.
The scallops were perfectly cooked. The rice was very tasty as well as the vegetables.
We were very surprised how much food we had given we ordered the lunch special.
We might go back and try again.
Had Jake as a chef he was 💣!!! Tricks and all!! I caught a chopped up piece of zucchini in my mouth 1st time!!!... Everyone gets some thrown at them it's hella fun!!! Lights the grill on fire! Make sure you get videos it's a blast kids loved it as well as adults!

This was the first time we've eaten here and it was amazing! From the service to the food, we had a wonderful experience. Our server was very gracious and our hibachi chef was great at entertaining while making our dinner. Fabulous!

Food is excellent. I had the Chicken Katsu which comes with Miso Soup and a Salad. I also had a cocktail called a Tsunami.
First time having Miso Soup. Didn't care for it. But please don't let deter you as I did not know it was a fishy soup, and I hate fish. The salad is simple and comes with a house dressinng already on it. Interesting yet very tasty. The Tsunami is fruity and fun, not real sweet but no heavy alcohol (until you hit the bottom of the glass). Very good.
The Chicken Katsu? SO yummy. The chicken is tender and juicy, and the breading is very light. Served with white rice and sauce. Always too much for me to finish in one sitting so I have lunch for tomorrow waiting on me.
They do have several hibachi tables with entertaining chefs. Personally I don't like sitting over a hot grill to eat, but I know a lot of people really enjoy them with a few in our group glued to watching the chef at the various hibachis. In addition they have a HUGE variety of sushi. Cannot comment as I have no interest in eating cooked fish, I'm certainly not eating it raw. The one person in our group who had sushi really enjoyed it though.
The only reason for the 3 on the atmosphere is because there were several birthday parties with guests who don't understand how to have a good time without screaming every time the chef through oil on the grill top. Made for a very disruptive evening for everyone else in the restaurant.
The staff is VERY friendly explaning how things were cooked, making suggestions for pairings, making sure we had what we wanted/needed.
Food was amazing, prices were fair, & service was great! Loved everything about this place! So glad we found it, will defiantly be back. Thanks guys!
Very great option to take shashimi lunch special that consists of the chef's choice of the day. Comes with soup & salad. Fast service and friendly staff. I come here several times at week. Enjoy!
Got Spicy maky dinner and the service was fast and attentive. Several people celebrate birthdays so you'll hear the birthday song play quite a few times but is the magic of the place. I've been eating here regularly for about 10 years.
It's not overpriced and hibachi is always fun to watch for first time visitors.

First time there, good food & fun times. We (group of 5) all ordered the hibachi; steak, shrimp, chicken & scallops. It comes with the fried rice, mushroom soup & small salad. Not pictured were the Philidelphia sushi I ordered, which is smoked salmon, avocado & cream cheese. I don't do spicy that well anymore so it was a perfect side. My husband who doesn't normally eat sushi, was able to enjoy it as well. We also got crab ragoon which was really good. The cook or hibachist (not sure what the proper term is) was fun & a joy to watch. Will definitely go back again to try other sushi rolls & some of the other dishes mentioned in the menu. The place does need some up-keep & remodeling as there was a few out of order signs on bathroom stalls & sink, but that appears to be many places after re-opening from being closed due to covid. It did seem we were rushed out after eating, but as we were leaving there was some large groups waiting, can't really blame them for that. Since it was for a friend's bday, they came out & beat a drum & played a happy birthday song on tape.
We usually order take out from Japanica and have never had a bad meal. My husband loves the sushi and I stick with the teriyaki, which is absolutely delicious.
I really have to highlight the customer service, however. We ordered edamame with our take out tonight but unfortunately staff forgot to put it in our bag. The restaurant called me not 5 minutes after I left to let me know about their mistake and offered me credit on a future order. I was so pleasantly surprised that they called me to make it right. Everyone is so polite and I love the service here!
I like this restaurant. I have dinner with my friends. They have sushi and Hibachi. They can also eat sushi while watching the master performing Habachi show. It is very suitable for a group of people to eat. Will come again. Recommended! My friends want sushi, they have it, they want Hibachi, they also have it.
I have been coming here once every few years for many years. The service is great. The food and hibachi entertainment is always great. Our family of 6 went on a Saturday at about 3pm two weeks ago and they had immediate seating.
Where to begin with this amazing experience? The appetizers are simply amazing, the service is the kindest and most considerate you could a for. Simply put one of the best Asian restaurants in the MKE Area
Delicious Delicious food!!!... pleasant atmosphere, only you haven't finished eating yet and they bring you the tickets, without asking if you want dessert or not. They want you to quickly leave the place or what?
During our meal, the "happy birthday" music and drum show was played multiple times for different customers. It was disruptive and loud. But the food was really tasty and good for the price.
Great!! Awesome unique place. Very fun time and great food. The prices aren't bad either. The cooks put a lot of energy into entertaining you and they do great. The servers were great and kept my drink full. The amount of food you get from the hybachi dinner is plenty. Would recommend.
Our dinner party included 3 preteen kids who really enjoyed the antics of our talented chef at the hibachi table! The meats, veggies, and fried rice were so good! We also loved the salad dressing. I had a combo dinner of Scallops and Filet Mignon. The filet gets cut into smaller chunks as it is searing on the grill. Top quality!! Others had everything from chicken to salmon. The portions were generous, and we all gave the food 5 stars. The only issue was that the carpet on one end of our table was quite soaked with something. There was no odor, but I could hear and feel it squishing as I stepped on it. Otherwise, everything was perfect! We are already planning our next trip to Japanica!
