This place has quickly become one of our favorite dining spots for French-inspired cooking. The menu offerings are never a disappointment. Just wish could offer a French beer like 1664, which is easily accessible in local liquor stores.

The short ribs and fried Brussel sprouts are out of this world delish. The bar service was awful. We came early for some happy hour cocktails before our 6pm reservation. The bartender had to be chased down and asked for menus/drinks. Loudly chatting about how drunk she was last night over by the host. The restaurant was empty we were practically the only ones there, nobody greeted us upon arrival. The dinner server saved the experience, she was awesome.

Everything at Fauntleroy was wonderful! The smoked salmon and steak tartar were my favorites, but a close second to the scallops. Food came out quickly and was perfectly cooked. Desserts and drinks were fantastic. Staff was friendly and very helpful. The atmosphere and beautiful decor tied everything together. Really a great restaurant to go to for any occasion. I will be back!

Everything was wonderful. All the food was cooked perfectly, and delightful. Great service. Nice wine list. Definitely recommend a reservation. Not accessible unless there is a back entrance - there are stairs directly inside the door.

This was such a nice restaurant to take my mother to for Mother’s Day. They had an amazing three course brunch and amazing seating. Thank you so much for making such a great impression on my mother, she hasn’t been to such a nice place in a while.

Fantastic and flavorful food! Best chicken and sea scallops we ever had! Expand your horizons and try the appetizers! Great that Milwaukee has this to offer! Quite the variety of drinks and wine as well. Enjoy!

A visit to Fauntleroy should possibly be in your near future. A comfortable/vintage/contemporary feel when walking in and sussing the restaurant out. French cuisine in a not-so- uppity atmosphere. We really enjoyed the laid back, but slightly romantic feel to it. Our server was great and mindful that we had a show to see that evening. I recommend the $9 per person 5 bites hors d'oeuvres. The gruyere puff pastry and liver mousse pastry could be eaten by the bowful. The French onion soup was excellent and we enjoyed the refreshingly light Lyonaisse (especially the bacon). The trout and salmon dishes were wonderful as well and the slow cooked salmon was melt in your mouth buttery!
