I had such a wonderful time at Cloud Red for the first time! First of all it was such a lovey atmosphere and the staff was wonderful, especially Ian C who had the perfect energy and seemed to set the vibe for the restaurant telling my group all about specials and welcoming some of us to the space for the first time. The food was also, incredible! Such a variety in a small and concise menu as well as large portions; everyone ends up sharing a little because it is all so good.

Cloud Red is absolutely amazing. Staff was friendly and really helpful and the atmosphere is awesome. Would highly recommend checking this place out if you're in the MKE area as a local or visiting the city! Can't wait to go back, the pulled pork nachos are unreal!

I'm visiting from Chicago and a Milwaukee local recommended Cloud Red. Great recommendation. I had a fabulous cocktail (gin + Asian flavors + tonic), the chicken po'boy (which was like a banh mi), and Brussels sprouts. Everything was delicious. Stephanie, Jayce, and a gentleman who recommended my drink (wish I knew his name) were all awesome. I have one more day in Milwaukee and am tempted to go back to Cloud Red.

Honestly — I come here multiple times a month with friends. I cannot get enough of the tofu bahn mi, the buffalo cauliflower and the brussels sprouts. (If anything, the brussel sprouts are a must if they fit your dietary needs!) the cheese curds are awesome too.
Before going note: it’s gonna be busy. It always is. But I’ve never felt like the service tanked because of that.
For those not familiar: it’s a seat-yourself kind of place, so you have to kind of hang around and diligently watch tables at the peak times (yes it can feel kind of creepy lol). Also, you order everything at the bar. A great strategy is to send someone on the lookout for a table too snag it at first chance while you or a friend order at the bar.
This is easily one of my favorite places in the city.

Great vegetarian place. Expect fresh, healthier pub fare. Limited menu but I keep coming back. Gets very busy, which tells you something. Only complaint is the counter service, I wish they had wait staff.

I’ve been to Cloud Red a few times now and definitely recommend visiting. The bartenders and servers are nice. As others have said, it does get VERY loud in here which makes it difficult to communicate. I like the tempeh tacos. They have good drinks and food. There are also games.

It was my first time at cloud red. It's much different
Restaurant experience.and so is the food. The restaurant is loud. But if it doesn't bother you.
Cloud red is worth checking out.

First time here and what a lovely spot! They have succulents all over and the ones on the tables had little paper pride flags stuck in them. So cute! I had the Watermelon Sugar cocktail - most of the cocktails are named after songs, like Raspberry Beret. We had Chips N Salsa and Buffalo Cauliflower. Both were great. The chips are clearly freshly made and the Buffalo Cauliflower was scrumptious. The staff was friendly and, besides being a bit loud, the ambience was great. I would come back, especially since the prices are not too dear.

Interesting set up. You get all of your own utensils water etc. place your order at the bar and they bring it to you. Food was good. I ate the steak salad and brussel sprouts appetizer.

The menu at Cloud Red was creative and eclectic. The roasted Brussels sprouts and the grilled octopus were particularly noteworthy, as well as the pork tenderloin and the seafood paella. Our server, I believe his name was Ian, recommended the Korean Loaded Potatoes which were great!

I can't say enough good things about this place. They have food that fits my crazy dietary restrictions. I don't know who creates their food options but this place is top notch, I've never had a bad meal here... and they have yummy cocktails. I've been back several times. Only thing is that they have strange hours, I'd love to go for lunch but they open a bit later. But so grateful to have this restaurant/bar nearby.

At a restaurant that likes to put a bit of a spin on the usual offerings, this burger is a solid classic. If you’re craving what you think a traditional burger tastes like this will fill the void.

Wife and I tried Cloud Red, and this place is awesome! We had the Buffalo Cauliflower and Crispy Brussels Sprouts. Both were delicious and the portions were out of control! We initially though about getting more items, but decided to just start with the two as you order at bar and food is delivered to your seat. Glad we did because we couldn't finish the two apps, which were so very good. Excited to go back and try more offerings.
They have games to play, so we sat and played some cribbage. Drinks were good. Atmosphere was nice. As others have said it gets loud. Seemingly after the kitchen closes (9 pm), the music got louder and changed from a restaurant that has a great bar, to more of a bar that has great food (until 9) vibe. Either is great!

This place is pretty hoppin'!
Find your seats first, since it will get full!
Seat yourself, then order at the bar.
Menus are hanging on the wall... so you'll see some people standing gin the middle of the room looking at the wall. It's a bad setup, considering how crowded it gets in here. A QR code on the table with an online menu might be a better option? Or come in to yelp and check out their menu! I've added pictures below.
Bartenders were superb and the food was quite amazing.
Crispy Brussel Sprouts: If you hate Brussel sprouts, skip it, but if you want to give it a chance, I'd say this is the place to do it.
1/2 LB Burger is actually cheaper than the Brussel sprouts. They complement each other quite well.
It can get quite loud inside, so not your romantic spot (go down the street to Buttermint for that), but if you're looking for a fun, loud, delicious spot, this is it.

As a vegan who loves Thai and Vietnamese food, I'm always on the lookout for great places and a friend told us they served a fantastic Banh Mi here. Looking at the menu we were disappointed to see no Banh Mi. But there was a Po Boy, so we took a chance that that was what our friend was really talking about. And boy was he right! Absolutely delicious! The crispy coating on the tofu made all the difference between this and the many other Banh Mis I've eaten in Milwaukee. I don't know what the technical difference is between a Banh Mi and a Po Boy, but no matter what you call it, this was one terrific sandwich. And the housemade tortilla chips and salsa were also super duper tasty. A rich smoky flavor in the salsa and the chips were made to perfection. Our drinks were most excellent, too! A Moscow Mule and Mojito that made us wish we could stay longer and have more of everything. I should have gotten the fresh spring rolls to go. I'll get them next time. Whether you're vegan or not, definitely check this place out.

Typical set up for a Restaurant like this. Free water and I think coffee, menu on the wall, order at the bar and find you own seat. I heard they had cauliflower wings and they were delicious. My husband ordered the Shrimp Taco and loved it. Not very expensive but if you are hungry you will need to make a meal out of any order.
