Landmark 1850 Inn - Milwaukee - Photo album

Delicious food in a unique atmosphere. You are surrounded by historical architecture and fixtures. I had one of her best burgers I have had to date! Plus-- It is just a quick walk across the street from the Hilton airport properties!
Stopped in and had a great time. The building is very cool. Owner was extremely helpful in explaining the building which is still heated by a firewood boiler. I totally loved the cash register so I snapped it for you. Let me know what you think!
Interesting old building with plenty of wood and pressed tin accents. Comfortable atmosphere. Perch fish fry was plenty to eat, had nice flavor and the breading was not too thick. Although they no longer have potato pancakes, the French fries are either plain crinkle-cut or straight sour cream & chi
About a mile from the airport and walking distance to a few hotels. This bar has an excellent beer selection which rotates about once a month. It has an old time look and feel. The staff was attentive and the food was decent and priced well. I would absolutely go here again.
Dark & cozy, with tons of antique decor lovingly curated by the owner. Went for Friday Fish Fry & wasn't expecting much. Very pleasantly surprised - Perch fried up nicely, good potato pancakes, great craft beers on tap. Weird location & doesn't look like much from outside, but steeped in history. In
Good prices, and a unique atmosphere. If you get a chance to look at the knickknacks on the wall, you should do so. Several are beautiful antiques, which when taken with all the elaborate woodwork, lend this bar a cool retro vibe. I didn't have an opportunity to try the food, but the bartenders are
Imagine a bar that is straight out of the 1850s. Old press button tills, phenomenal wood work, excellent selection of beer and liquor, the old iron work and Brass work reminiscent of an old Wild West Saloon, reasonable prices, and a friendly knowledgeable staff to top it all off. A quiet joint readi
They need better lighting but food very good. We all had different fish meals, all tasted fresh. Good salads, fresh , variety of veggies in salad. They should put them on a salad plate and they wouldn't have to be so big, spread it out, easier to pour dressing evenly. One party had potato pancakes
Extremely unique bar with original architecture. I highly recommend stopping in a cooler even since there's no AC. The bartender is outstanding. But with average food menu, I recommend just one time look see for drinks.
This is one of my favorite places to grab after work drinks and dinner with coworkers. The staff is friendly, their wings are delicious with great sauce options, and I enjoy the atmosphere.
My son and I went to Landmark 1850 Inn for a friday late lunch, to say the least we were not disappointed. The ambiance was reminiscent of an original coach stop. We were greeted by a friendly bartender/hostess who seated us brought us water and returned to take our order. My son ordered an individu
A good example of a typical Wisconsin bar. This place has a very interesting history as it was once a stage stop on the highway between Chicago and Milwaukee. The bar itself dates back to the days before prohibition. Good food and lots of cold beer on tap. Try the "Spotted Cow". Only seems to be
Love going here after work and having a good time with Co workers and having a cold one. Go in and enjoy the food drinks and the bartender 😋 she is beautiful and super sweet.
Out standing service. Food is really good. From AZ we had the walleye and brat sandwich. Very good and so r the potato pancakes. Just a very nice place. Thank You for your service 😊😊😊😊😊
The location is one of a kind, the staff are friendly, and the beverage selection is quite good. Food here includes pub staples as well as a couple specialty items that tand out among competitors. I recommend the brat sandwich and the cherry mead (especially to people who don't typically like beer).
Beer selection was great for geeks, no crowds or wait for fish fry on a Friday at dinner, even though the food and service was good, which must have to do with the location in the middle of nowhere, next to the airport. Atmosphere is of an old time pub, which looks good from a distance, but on close
Historic bar with modern craft beer a short walk from Mitchell International Airport.
