Best pizza in Milwaukee. I don't know how they make even the middle pieces so thin and yet still crispy. I love sitting at the bar with a cold beer and a delicious thin crust pizza. Parking can be a little tough, especially if you're no good at parallel parking, but I live within walking distance so it's no problem.

Zaffiro's gets my vote for best pizza in Milwaukee! Why? The extra thin crust, the spicy sauce, the not greasy Italian sausage, the canned mushrooms, the perfect ratio of toppings and the anchovies! Fried eggplant is always delicious also. The bartenders make solid drinks. The restaurant is like a time capsule and that's good because it's perfect - never change Zaffiro's!

Visited based on Portnoys recommendation. Drove all the way from Chicago with my Dad. The pizza was a solid 9.6/10. Shall return. Crispy thin crust with perfect ingredient ratios and cooked to perfection.

The pizza is our favorite in Milwaukee! Thin crust, extra sauce is the way to go! Good service and generally quick turnaround time for carry out orders.

What an experience, ordered pizza and some drinks... Ended up being friends with the whole bar. Can get packed, but worth while - don't let the crowds worry you.

Had a thin crust Italian Sausage pizza w/extra sauce. It was great, from the crust, to the sausage, to the sauce.
It was our first time there, as we were only in town for a day. The atmosphere was great. Just what you’d expect from a business that has been at that same location since 1954. Great atmosphere. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Milwaukee Style Pizza does exist!
My wife and I moved from NJ last year where pizza begins and ends with NY style.
For those uninitiated, MKE style pizza starts with a thin, crispy crust. Tomato (pizza) sauce covers the entirety of the crust, no edge to hold onto. Cheese and then toppings baked til gooey and cut into 2.5 - 3 inch squares.
Zaffiro's does this very well. We've tried a few other pizzerias in the last year, nothing compares this far.
Server was very friendly and helpful when we mentioned that we were still neophytes.
Easy to find, probably difficult to find a parking spot, (we walked from Brewer's Hill.)
If you go during a Packer game, the place will be quieter, but you may have to wait a bit longer because of carryout.

I hadn't been here in quite a while as I was unimpressed last time around. I joined some friends for dinner recently and have to say I was impressed. The crust was crispy delicious and the topping ratio was perfect. We ordered one of the three pizzas with extra sauce and that cemented the deal. Things are good with regular sauce, but I like it a little on the heavy side and it was just right. The eggplant appetizer was also delicious. I will definitely return in the future.

Old school italian eatery that came highly recommended for their Milwaukee thin-crust pizza. My first stop off the ferry did not disappoint. Fried eggplant app, mozzarella cheese sticks, a large pie for the table with a glass of house red for me. The One Bite review got me here, but the atmosphere and staff made me feel welcome. I loved the food and kicked off a baseball / state fair weekend with a great spot. Family friendly with a clean classic style, I highly recommend this place for casual dining and comfort food that takes you back.

Just picked up and finished off two pizzas and as always it was perfection. The whole family is satisfied. Crust is perfect, toppings are perfect. The perfectly balanced thin crust pizza. We don’t get here as much as we’d like, but every chance we do they impress us. Thank you as always.!
