Kegel's Inn - Milwaukee - Photo album

Atmosphere is so cozy and fun, lots of details all over. Food was delicious. We got the Oktoberfest brat & baked cod, with appetizers cheese curds and pretzel. Best fried cheese curds I've ever had.
Wisconsin fish fry at its finest! Spent a great night here while home for Thanksgiving break. We all had fish fry including the cod, walleye and blue gill, all excellent and some of the best potato pancakes ever. Great beers and wine too!
Great atmosphere especially to live music! Apps both truffle fries and Hugh Jass pretzel were amazing! Love the curry ketchup! Spaetzel Mac and cheese was great along with the Nashville chicken sandwich. Wisco disco burger was good but has to be cooked well done which I’m not a fan of, give me the r
The restaurant itself had the old world feel we were looking for. Clean, efficient layout (tables not too close), and the decor was wonderful. It afforded a great mix of people enjoying the evening. The service was spot on and timing of courses were handled very well, we did not feel rushed and all
The food was excellent. My only complaint is that the online menu didn't line up at all with what was going on at the restaurant. This also includes the hours for the business. However, the server was so polite and nice about letting us just enjoy our meal and our conversation. We didn't realize we
Friday fish fries at Kegel’s Inn are a Milwaukee institution! Make reservations or be prepared to wait an hour + for a table. I had the perch which was sweet and delicious, potato pancakes, a great dark German beer on tap and shared a fried cheese curds starter with my date who enjoyed the bluegill.
One of the best German restaurants I've ever eaten at. They have fantastic seating outside in the Biergarten. Jessica was one of the most pleasant servers I've seen in years 👏 Great job 👍
Nice German restaurant. I ate close to closing. They bring out lots of food...ordered the wienerschnitzel with gravy ($33). It came with a side of broccoli, side salad, soup, rolls. Also ordered a side of spaetzel ($?) and a small pretzel ($8) which was rather large. The schnitzel was overcooked
A West Allis fish fry institution where we got to eat in a yurt! This was one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. I snuck into town to surprise some friends. We had a reservation for a yurt at Kegel’s that would fit all 12 of us. The yurts were impressive and comfortable inside. Hunter wa
Old fashioned German restaurant with appetizing food. Crowded with locals coming for fan favorites and liter steins. Fish fry was delicious, the cod was small but hit the spot with the potato pancakes. If you enjoy tons of coconut try their German chocolate cake, I avoided it since I’m not a coconut
