Beautiful view. The establishment is also very nice. The service was excellent. The presentation of the food was beautiful, the quality of the food was excellent and the execution of the food was well done…but the flavors of the entrees be lacking. I assume they stick with simple in an attempt to let the ingredients speak for themselves, but it was really bland.
Wouldn’t return, but I can appreciate why so many people like it here.
The staff was wonderful! We celebrated our one year dating anniversary and they made a cute little sign for our table and everyone congratulated us. The food was excellent and they even have us a dessert on the house! We will definitely be returning again!
We had the most wonderful experience with our servers, Carmen P. and Tony! It was our first time there and we celebrated my birthday and to everyone I talk to I will forever mention the meal we had at this restaurant. I love when wait staff offer suggestions for food, especially for first time diners. Amazing food, service, wine, and atmosphere! Will definitely be returning with an empty stomach and a big smile.
Harbor House is a wonderful lakefront restaurant for a special occasion or if you want to just feel special because the vibe is great and the service is chill and yet exemplary. Treated my nephew to a tasty dinner before a show at the Riverside Theatre. Amazing cocktails followed by crab cakes, mussels and chowder. Surf and turf? Why not? It was perfection. Oh and the wine list can hold a torch to any four star restaurant I’ve enjoyed around the world.
Place has great seafood and a full bar. Came here on a Saturday for some lunch before checking out the Milwaukee Art Museum. It is $$$ so expect that when coming here, but I saw that you can get a burger here that is fairly priced if you are on a budget. You can come here and dress all fancy, and on the other hand, you can come here dressed casually.
Just enjoyed a pleasant evening by the lake at Harbor House. We started with a seafood tower. Everything was very fresh and tasted great. The sauces provided added the perfect touch to each item in the tower. We also ordered additional tuna tartar and a lobster roll. Both were excellent. The location is perfect and has great views of the lake and downtown. There is an outdoor patio that was really enjoyable to sit outside and enjoy the evening.
Had an wonderful experience celebrating our wedding anniversary at Harbor House. We were given a great table with a spectacular view. Amazing food and service as always. We appreciate the additional touches they provided for our special occasion!
It was a beautiful evening to eat on the patio at sunset. As always the oysters and fish are fresh. The beef tender and the vegetables grilled or prepared to be warm yet crisp.
Crystal our server remembered from last month that we went on vacation and asked us how it was. Very personable.
Welcoming from valet Parker’s. Hostesses, bartenders and servers. Nothing but excellent service every time we visit.

We enjoyed a magical time in the beautiful captain's room for Sunday brunch. You must start off with the pastry basket! The mussels first course in coconut milk was flavorful and light and the perfect start to crab cake eggs benedict. A carrot cake with an amazing stained glass baked sugar disc on top and surrounded by candied pecans and caramel was visually amazing and even better tasting for our third course.
William our server was so attentive we felt like we were his only responsibility. He seemed to know what we needed before we did but was never hovering. He was superb!
The best brunch in Milwaukee! We had an amazing experience. We enjoyed bloody mary’s, the mussels, the steamed snow crab, and the halibut. We topped it off with the delicious blueberry lemon crumble. Outstanding reception and service and the view of the sparkling lake is gorgeous. We’ll definitely return.
