Jalsa Canteen

We originally booked Jalsa to cater our wedding in September 2020. Due to Covid-19, we had to move our wedding to September 2021. Reshmi and her team were extremely flexible and helpful in adjusting our contract and date and making sure they were available for our new date. Jalsa provided a wonderful wedding tasting experience where we were able to select our choice of dishes for the wedding. Additionally, Jalsa was extremely helpful in providing special meals for certain dietary restrictions with no issues on the day of the wedding. The food and dessert were exceptional and all of our guests raved about the food! We would absolutely recommend Jalsa for all future event catering needs!

We had Jalsa Catering for our wedding in Morgan Hill and we are so happy that we got a chance to work the team! The food was DELICIOUS!! We received so many compliments from all of our guests. When we went ih for our tasting, we had a hard time deciding what to choose since everything was so good! Chef Vittal had great suggestions for our event, we had Gujarati food for our wedding lunch, passed appetizers during the ceremony, appetizers for cocktail hour and Punjabi food for dinner. Aside from the traditional Gujarati food, everything else was fusion food and innovative! Chef Vittal and his team were able to even make some of the food at the venue, which made the food really fresh. We weren't able to taste test the Gujarati Food at our tasting appointment, but Chef Vittal made us some for another day for pick up which was very considerate. We will be going to Jalsa for our future events! We would recommend Jalsa Catering in a heartbeat to anyone!!

We used Jalsa to cater for three events at our daughter’s wedding and they were wonderful. The food was unique and delicious, their price was reasonable and Vittal, the owner was wonderful to work with. The guests couldn’t stop commenting on how wonderful the food was. I can’t recommend them highly enough!

The worst dosa I ever had. It was dry filled with liquid potatoes. No flavoring worst coconut chutney ever. Gobhi manchurian in white sauce The name tag said chili gobhi. I could not figure out what it was. Is it the same company who catered during Modi’s visit to Bay Area. Coconut rice with malaibar chicken. The worst combination. The worst desert mango moose. Never again.

Horrible service/ customer service and treatment.Had a terrible experience at Livermore temple wedding by Jalsa catering not even worth a single star but can't post without a star so giving 1 star. I personally won't recommend this for any event. Pathetic and very upsetting to see such behavior from a catering team.
