Parktown Pizza Company

We were here on a Monday evening. This place is huge but hardly any ppl. They dint even turn on the AC. We ordered 3 beers, a large pizza and a garlic bread and to our shock the total was 100$. Funny thing, they don’t accept cash and charge extra 3% for credit cards. They also add 18% gratuity automatically. For a very average place with no AC during summer the prices are pretty expensive. The food was good just the ambience.. not so great!

I regularly order from this restaurant for take out inly. Never had the chance to dine-in. But, every time had good experience. Their food is always fresh. Their pizzas are really expensive as compared to the pizza places like dominos, pizza hut etc. But, the best thing about this place is they have 25% discounts on every Tuesday. They take some time to prepare the food, but I think thats worth it. Editing this review and giving them only 1 star since they've started charging 18% service fee if we dine in there. It says its a sports bar and a pizza place. Also, on Tuesday's they have 25% off. You would think its a perfect place for hanging out and watching games and eating pizza. But, they charge 18% more if we dine in and I think that's a deal breaker for me

This place is awesome especially to watch sports!! The giant downfall is one pint is $12 and a mini pizza only enough for 1 was over $20!! With tax and tips that ends up being a very expensive meal. I used to work here when it was Straw Hat over 25 years ago.. The pizza is still good but expensive. They took out the pinball & video games for kids so its not too great for families anymore, although kids can eat inside still, but there is nothing for them to do..

What's up with the prices at this place? We used to get pizza from Parktown every few months but it seems like they almost doubled their prices recently. The large pizza is $40! What??? Ok, if it was a high end restaurant with food that was out of this world, then fine...but IT'S NOT. It's mediocre at best and insanely overpriced. There is no indication of size on the menu, so for $16.95 you get a tiny 8" individual pizza with a crust that tastes like cardboard. A $12.95 spicy cauliflower appetizer is puny and just ok, you can get a similar appetizer that is larger and better tasting at a nearby Hyderabad Dum Biryani for $8.99. $20 for 12 tandori wings again seems high. Milpitas has a great variety of good and reasonably priced restaurants, no reason to overpay at Parktown

What is up with this mediocre place and skyrocketing prices? In addition to that there is a 18.5% surcharge for indoor dining in addition to a 3.5% charge for credit card use. Are these guys nuts? The price of items on the menu is bewildering. Take this for example - one small pizza is $25, and a cup of fries is $13. The pizza is beyond disappointment. How are these people even getting customers with amateurish pizzas and exorbitant prices is a mystery. Is there a way to rate this bitter experience zero stars? Stay away!
