Gen Korean BBQ experience is always a good time. Been there numerous times in different locations throughout the U.S. while entertaining business associates, friends and family. This place is popular with some waits that are well worth it so recommended to plan ahead. Service is great. All you can eat with menu items selected and you get to cook them at the table per your preference which adds to the dining experience.

First time I've been to Gen. I thought it was pretty good! We were a big party split into 2 tables. The tables were clean and the hoods looked clean and nice altogether. It was Saturday at 2pm so it was dinner menu. We could order 4 dishes at a time. Dishes came pretty quickly. Service was good because our waitress was back often. Orders came pretty quick. The waitress changed our grills whenever we asked, which for our table was 3x and our other table 2x. Meat was tasty and seemed like overall good cuts. The food was good. We took the whole 2 hours. It was a good deal for $25 a person. Some of my friends weren't impressed though and thought the service wasn't great. I am not as stringent though because even though it was 2pm it was busy/packed! I'm not sure what they're expecting. They did forget 2 orders nearing the end of our 2 hours though. However we weren't going to put energy into getting it. I enjoyed my food and time there and would come back again, though maybe with a smaller party.

Easily the best place for Korean BBQ! Worth the drive all the way from San Francisco! Best selection of meats. Terrific service! Modern design! The best. Don't waste your time with any other Korean BBQ restaurants in the Bay Area!

Excellent vibe and atmosphere! Loved the decor and the menu was extensive, everyone is going to like something. The pork marinated in garlic was the favorite! The deep fried popcorn chicken was also great! Ask for a second pair of scissors, one so you can evenly cook everything fast and a second to cut the pieces up smaller to fit in your rice bowl! You don’t want to use the same set of scissors! Because we asked for a knife and they said they don’t have any. Besides that excellent experience!

All you can eat Korean BBQ, grill it yourself. The decor was modern, more like a night club than a BBQ restaurant. They offer various cuts of beef and pork. The meats came marinated or not and they all were good quantity. There are also some seafood, such as shrimps and calamari. If you are a meat eater, this might seem like heaven. Service staff was excellent, kept asking whether we wanted more meats. I wish they offer some fresh vegetables, such as lettuce to wrap the meats with though (many Korean restaurants do offer). Good CP!

Dinner is $25 per person. The food is good, but you have to know how to cook BBQ. Otherwise the food is not good for you. It is a great place for party and friend together.

I know it's boring to be joining the crowd here, but this place is pretty much as good as it gets. The food, as others have said, is fantastic (especially at dinner). The portions are very generous. Most of all, service is prompt and friendly. Special shout out to Mariah who always had a genuine smile on her face - something much costlier establishments could use a lesson in. I also would like to point out that we did not think the same of the San Jose location: There we found service to be more shallow, and making a reservation there was a nightmare. The Milpitas location was much more flexible and friendly. I really appreciate this as I lead a food group and need to make large reservations frequently. We'll be back often... (and we are lucky enough to have this within walking distance)!

This place haves really good meat and great service. It's all you can eat for around $25 a head (dinner). The only downside has to be the wait...
