Good diner place. We tried their four eggs low cal vegetarian omelette with country side potatoes and sourdough bread on the side. The omelette was great but mild in taste, potatoes were nice and crispy. We also ordered a bagel with cream cheese and they gave us butter on the side too, bagel was good in taste. If you order regular coffee, they will continue to refill. Also, they have plenty of menu options to choose from which is good, the staff is nice and friendly.
A breakfast and lunch diner with an old school vibe. We had a ham and cheese omelette that was pretty good, we asked for well done hash browns and they came out very nice and crispy but had an ever so slight off taste. We also ordered biscuits and gravy, the gravy was very good. The place has an old style to it with padded booths and counter service with stools. The wait staff was very polite, attentive and took good care of us. This place looks like it has a lot of regulars who have been coming here for years. I would stop by again if I was in the area and hungry for a good breakfast.
I've been going this place for 20 years. Awesome food - I've never had a bad meal yet. I highly recommend the chicken fried steak and home fries deep fried! The pancakes are awesome too! Don't bother with Black Bear Diner up the street - it's a waste of money!
We went got a Sunday brunch around noon and there was a 26 minute waiting. We waited and got in. Loved the crab cake Benedict. It was very crispy and delicious. Hash browns were okay as I could taste the old oil thing. Blueberry pancakes were amazing except we forgot to mention don’t put the frosting but that’s our bad. Overall good experience and food was heavy. The staff was also very friendly and sweet. Would love to go there again!
I was going to Great America to let the girls have a little fun that morning I was looking for a decent breakfast spot and came across Mil's Diner and gave it a try... and I was very pleased that I had to come back and it was even better.
Pretty good diner. Had the chicken fried steak with hash browns and eggs. It had the texture of breaded hamburger steak, which is not a criticism. Very tasty. Should have ordered the gravy on the side, but the breading didn't get too soggy.
Good old fashioned diner. Interior reflects the "old" part of the description. However, the food is good, not great. Service is excellent and the staff is friendly.
This type of finer is dieing in the Bay Area, so I would encourage you to patronize this establishment.
Been going to Mils Diner since I was a child. I eventually worked there as a young adult. If you love a "mom and pop" style restaurant this is the place for you. Plates are more than filling, prices are the best. Waitresses are friendly. Family owned!!!
