O Sole Mio Restaurant

Overall O Sole Mio is pretty good. It’s well attended by locals and the staff is friendly. Friendly can be good and bad. On the bad side they can engage in conversations for a bit of time with patrons which makes your visit a little more prolonged than intended. If you’re not in a hurry it’s ok but sometimes you just need to get in and out! Had the fried calamari appetizer, an appetizer pizza, pescatore with linguini (and another with Angel hair), fresh clams over linguini, and lots of other plates. I felt the flavoring on everything was a little on the saltier side but not so much that it stopped us from eating everything!

Very nice little Restaurant. Has a Lot of Italian and old school Charme. Exists since 1954 and you could experience the Tradition of this place by just one visit. Our Leonardo (da Vinci, Not di caprio) was courteous and very nice. Fresh bread and water all the time. Thats not Common for people from Europe. You could Play music on the Jukebox from your table, amazing experience, never seen that before. Had a Lot of fun with that. The food was delicious. And the prices are more than fair. Will recommend the restaurant to anyone going to San Francisco. Greetings from Germany 😊

I seldomly give 5 star reviews, but I think this place deserves it. Great atmosphere, friendly and attentive service, and of course, delicious Italian food. They bring out crispy and warm sourdough bread, which you can dip in the traditional olive oil and balsamic at your table. The house salad was fresh and visually pleasing with all the vibrant colors. As for the chicken marsala, I actually expected more portions, but it was good nevertheless. The bill came with a little Andes mint chocolate piece. I left very full and satisfied.
