Hoping to go back at some point and add pictures, but this restaurant is fantastic! We visited from out of town and me and my bf sat at the bar. We ordered the artichoke, mushroom crostini and the shrimp cobb salad. The artichoke was big and has a fantastic dipping sauce. The mushroom Crustini was so good- the bread was thick and the mushrooms were very fresh and it had a thin layer of cheese as well. The shrimp salad was beautiful and had a lot of flavors and textures which made it superb. I’d love to go back and try some of the main entrees and hopefully will soon!!!

Food and service is always excellent here. Oysters Bingo are a must along with the calamari, burger (voted best in the area), and lamb shank.

Hubby very much enjoyed the pork chop. The petrale sole was wonderful. Even the green beans were perfect—bright green, crunchy yet soft inside.
Classic setting, nicely decorated for the holidays; we sat downstairs near cozy fireplace on a comfortable partial booth seat.
Glad they start serving at 4pm as we needed the early timing. Easy mid-week parking in their self-park lot.

The food was good, all plates where emptied.
For Me, as a person who eats healthy and fatty food in moderation, it absolutely killed my stomach for the next two days.
My pasta was swimming in pure oil, the mussels tasted like oil.
Way way too much.
Also the appetizer of burrata, oil oil oil.
And For this price and Kaliber of restaurant I expect bread etc.. on the table.
The restaurant itself is beautiful, but I recommend sitting upstairs.
Downstairs was a big hall where you almost had to scream to hear each other.

My parents would always go on and on about how spectacular this place was, so I was glad when they took me out to dinner here. I quite enjoyed the cozy atmosphere during the colder November season and it was a welcome sight as we ate. The food was absolutely spectacular, especially the Oysters Bingo. My parents had a habit of talking about them in great lengths as if the food had been taken directly from the Holy Grail itself. Tasting it myself, I could see exactly why; if you stop at the Buckeye, you HAVE to get the Oysters Bingo! The service was a little slow the night we went, though given the volume of people inside, that sort of made sense. Overall, amazing experience with amazing food. Will definitely be coming back here again, hopefully sometime soon!

Still great. Been 20+ years, but the bar still felt like home. Oysters Bingo are a must. Cocktails are finely honed. Total treat.
