This is one of my favorite places to eat in Marin! Top quality food and amazing customer service. The atmosphere is very welcoming and and family friendly. I order The works burger with garlic fries and Guarana (Brazilian soda). To top things off, they now have Acai! Now I'm definitely coming back more frequently than before. Obrigado!
Muito bom o atendimento excelente a pizza está uma delícia a proprietária muito simpática recomendado sempre a que for !
There’s so much to like about this place, from the accommodating staff to the most delicious pizza. We needed a place for 20 people post wedding and we rented out the patio and ordered 9 pizzas (all delicious and delivered in perfect timing) then we had a vegan so Luciano the owner sent someone to get vegan cheese and made a vegan pizza for one of our guests. We had kids running around and I’m sure that can get annoying but the staff was just so nice. Really happy with our decision to come here. Oh ya and the heart shaped pizza!!! What a cute touch for our happy new couple. Love this place
Wow! For a walk in slice of Margherita pizza, this was unbelievably amazing! The fact that the cheese was super fresh, as well as the Basil on the pizza and the Roma tomatoes used. Me and my partner visited this small pizza joint while passing through the city, and both thoroughly enjoyed the quality of food served!
Average tasting pizza , predictably Mill Valley priced = hilariously overpriced, dated décor, plenty of parking, and fairly friendly and helpful staff. All totaled, equals a medium score.
Update (was 3 stars) - in the many years since I wrote this first review, it feels like the owners have invested a lot in the restaurant. The place has expanded and looks great, my family loves the food, and my kids enjoy walking there for a slice. Still a bit expensive for me, but most things in this town are, so I understand. The staff (usually younger) have always been friendly and helpful, and we always seem to have a good experience.
Excellent Pizza. A bit pricey, but everything is these days.
I have gotten more pizzas delivered from Rocco's than I would like to admit. That being said I have never had a disappointing experience, my pizza(s) have always arrived hot, and they have never forgotten extra packets of parmesan or red pepper flakes. If you're a fan of thin crust pizza Rocco's is a great choice.
Solid pie. For me, regular crust and I loved it. But for my wife... gluten free crust and it was one of the BEST GF crusts she's had. Often they're inedible, but Rocco's was actually tasty with a nice chew to it. I'm afraid to say I'm now a "regular" at Rocco's! : )
We eat Rocco's more often than I'd like to admit. We appreciate their great delivery drivers (fun memory: one time we ordered and were in our hot tub in the backyard when the pizza came early. The delivery driver could hear us and lifted the pizza over the fence and called out so that we knew it was here!). We sometimes pick it up but then I always wind up adding a yummy dessert to my order that I didn't need. We sometimes dine in - especially on weekends. I have many fond memories on their inviting patio with a beer, pizza, and my puppy.
We're lucky to have so many great pizza options in southern Marin. We rotate through other options periodically but nothing is as delicious and as consistent as Rocco's. The sauce, the handmade dough, the cheese, everything is delicious and in the right proportions. It's also cool to see Luciano back there tossing the dough by hand prepping more pizza. We love their entire menu and sometimes we mix it up with sandwiches, salads, and pasta instead of pizza. Special shoutout to the Works Burger which we keep calling the Brazilian Burger but the folks behind the counter are kind enough to guess what we mean. I also love that I can just get a slice of pizza with custom toppings anytime of the day when my husband wants his Works burger.
I only have two complaints. 1 - I haven't been able to order online lately but I think I just figured out they changed their website to roccosofmillvalley dot com instead of the site listed on GMaps as of the date of this review. I wish they'd send a marketing savvy employee to get this straightened out to make it easier for me to figure out how to get my pizza now. 2 - we were treated the most amazing Brazilian food on Saturdays for a portion of the pandemic but alas, all great things must come to an end. Now that I've tasted Luciano's Feijoada, I feel cheated that this didn't become a regular menu item :)
They have the BEST Gluten-Free Pizza I’ve ever had!! The staff was so friendly and the outdoor seating is so nice with the patio heaters on 🔥 You can tell they put a lot of effort into there business and it’s shown through the food they put out. Thanks again for a great dinner experience!
The food was good and came for a great price. The staff is super friendly, not just with me, but with every customer I saw come in. It's a great, friendly environment. The location is in a convenient shopping center, and most people took their food to go (or had it delivered), so there was plenty of seating, indoors and out, that I wouldn't be worried about finding a table. The toppings choices were plentiful, more than certain pizza shops, and they were tasty. We only ordered pizza, but there was tons of other stuff available on the menu as well.
Very koolio. Kool. Recommend cuz is kool si eat it cuz it's pizza. Yay kuz its kool
