Excellent service, good food. Unfortunately our table was seated right near the front door and were hit with cold air each time the door opened. But other than that, we enjoyed it. Our server was very knowledgeable and recommended the cheesecake for dessert which was probably the best I've ever had. Would definitely return.
Had a great meal out! Old Milford is a quaint little town and this restaurant was very good!
Ammmmmazing!! I stopped in a couple times while I was in town. The Brussels sprouts were the best I’ve ever had. I loved the Caesar salad with salmon. Salmon was cooked perfectly. Wonderful place!! Great service.
Food and service were both incredible - I think the Confit Duck dinner special was the best duck I've ever eaten.
I can see where parking can be hard at times, but I had no issues finding a spot nearby after a couple loops around the block.
I really like this restaurant, and its location in charming Old Milford, I will definitely be back.
We've always loved Milford, Ohio, for its quaintness. We had been there a few times, just looking around, selecting restaurants we might like to try. One of those restaurants was 20 Brix, and we finally made it here the other night. From the moment we approached, we had a "good feeling" about this place. We were not wrong. This is one of the best restaurants we have ever visited! To begin, we ordered a cocktail. My choice was my favorite bourbon and ginger ale. I asked the waitress to add a couple cherries and cherry juice, which is my preferred way to drink this. She did indeed! In fact, she brought me a small bowl with a couple Luxardo cherries and some of the thick, syrupy juice/liqueur, so that I could add as I liked. If you have never had a Luxardo cherry, you are missing out! They are GLORIFIED maraschinos, but are a deep, almost black, red color, and very flavorful. Absolutely wonderful.
To go with our cocktails we ordered ROASTED MUSHROOMS (GF) (V), with sunflower seed, garlic, chive, and Tomme d'Evanston, which is an alpine style cheese. At first I thought it was a Parmesan cheese, but it was much richer and nuttier. The entire dish was buttery and rich and flavorful, and the pairing of all these ingredients was brilliant, and my husband and I both felt we never really had tasted mushrooms until now! The dish was perfectly prepared.
For our entrée, we both opted for the BAVETTE STEAK (GF), which is a heavenly portion of American Wagyu Bavette (flank/flap steak) cooked in a Bordelaise sauce. with a wonderfully creamy aioli, chimichurri. arugula, and served with steak fries. Oh my GOODNESS. That is all that needs said...
I usually do not get dessert at a restaurant, because the meal leaves me very full, and not even room enough for coffee. But the portions at 20 Brix are just right. So, dessert...
So glad we had room for dessert! My husband ordered LEMON BERRY MASCARPONE, which was a delightful and light cake, filled with berries and mascarpone. Heavenly. Chocoholic that I am, I ordered CHOCOLATE POT DE CRÉME. It was so smooth and creamy, and very chocolatey without being overly sweet. The desserts were the perfect end to a glorious meal.
Overall, 20 Brix needs to hold on to their chef! This person knows food. Our waitress was very attentive, respectful of our experience, and friendly without being phony. She knew well how to serve, and interact with the customers. It made our experience what it was: perfection. The atmosphere was beautiful, with a lot of wood and candlelight. It was cozy and intimate, without being secluded. This is definitely a restaurant we will visit again. What a gem!
20 Brix is a well-groomed cross between a restaurant and wine bar. Located on the main street of Old Milford it was easy to find parking, and on a Monday night it was not busy. The menu has some interesting choices, and the Brussels sprouts appetizer was a standout. We had an assortment of dishes that were all prepared well, though none stood out in particular. Our server Jennifer was excellent, attentive, and joked along with us.
We had a fantastic server and she was wonderful. The food was good too. I felt it was pricy but overall not bad. We didn't get bread with our dinner like other tables so I wasn't sure what happened there but overall we had a good time.
A bit pricey for what you’re given, but it is one of the few “fine dining” experiences in Milford. The entrees are good, but not out of this world. The drinks are fantastic, and their desserts are truly worth the visit alone. My only wish is that they get a little more exploratory with the appetizers & entrees as they seem a little bland and kid-friendly than they should be for the price.

My wife and I set reservations for a date night on a Friday. When we arrived a little early and were heated at the door by the hostess and manager. They assured us our table would be ready right on time and offered a spot at the bar while we waited.
We had a fabulous Manhattan made with 20 Brix own bourbon blend and a glass of a red wine whose name escapes me.
Seated right on time, as promised, we ordered a bottle of wine and the baked feta.
The server was friendly, personable and attentive but never over bearing. The manger stayed engaged in the tables ensuring that every table had everything they needed.
I ordered the steak and my wife had the risotto and they were both amazing.
The atmosphere was excellent for enjoying an evening together so we opted for dessert as well.
We got the lemon berry mascarpone and the chocolate pot de creme as well as the Autumn Mule. It was the perfect end to a perfect meal and cemented 20 Brix as our new date night spot.
Ordered the Brussel Sprouts..best I've ever had anywhere..and Salmon...OMG it was delicious. Johnny Walker and Chocolate Mouse for dessert..love it! I will definitely return. Gained 1 lb while on a diet..but it was worth it.
