Food was ok, friendly service and moderately priced. Clean interior and restrooms. Biriyani was different from what I’ve tried before. Nan was also good. Lamb curry felt sweet full of potatoes. Might not visit this place again. But would recommend as worth the try. Bit inside from the main road and difficult to find. Lot of parking space available.

This place is so delicious! They have a lot of choices and variety of options. We were able to try some new things that we have not had at other Indian restaurants. All the food was delicious. It did not take them long to bring the food out either. They do offer kids meals. We really liked how they had pictures on a screen on the wall of different foods from the menu. Everything looks so good and it made us want to try even more delicious options.

My husband and I were on a weekend away and we were delighted to find this restaurant. My husband is a chef so it is hard to impress him, he couldn’t stop raving about the food. The service was outstanding. If you are in the area, we highly recommend trying this place out for an authentic meal. Great Job!!!

Hidden gem in Midland. Took our friends out for Indian for their first time. I'm thankful they made it through the pandemic and hope they continue on. Flavors are outstanding and everything was perfectly cooked. Definitely will eat here again 10/10 stars!

My family and I (7 total) decided to try this place for dinner tonight. It was a lovely time with wonderful food choices. I am vegan and it is difficult to find a restaurant with food choices that I can eat in Midland. The service was great and our food came in a timely manner. I highly recommend Idli Dosa Indian Restaurant.

Everything we have eaten here has been so delicious. There’s a wide variety that satisfies everyone in our family (even the vegans) We just keep coming back and they have yet to disappoint us! Wait staff is so efficient- they don’t even write down your order- they memorized it!? Give Idli Dosa a try, you will NOT be disappointed!

The whole family tried Idli Dosa for the first time, including our teenage kids and four year old. All of us said WOW!! The soups had a bit of a kick and were super tasty! The Mixed Veg Pakora appetizer was enough to share between 4 people - we ordered 2 and they were eaten quickly! So yummy!! The Chicken Curry, both spicy and non-spicy was a great option - definitely get some naan to go along with this! Best Naan we've ever had! The Butter Chicken super mild (oh my, this was AMAZING!) was sooo good. The Tandoori Platter gave a lovely sampling of a number of entrees....we didn't leave anything behind -- we have leftovers that we are looking forward to!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND and we will be back!!

In a word: sensational! Not much to look at from the outside, didn't thrill me or put me off. Didn't look like an Indian Restaurant to be honest. The wife and I were looking for something beyond the boring Applebees or burger joint. We were not disappointed. Immediately seated, host wasn't thrilled to see us or all that friendly. Something she should probably work on. The menu was extensive and had all the favorites. Several larger platters with a variety of items together was delightful. We opted for the tandori platter with fish, shrimp, and chicken and a bed of salad served with basmati rice. Rice was perfectly prepared. The tandori items were a little spicy and wonderful. The samosas were exceptional. We ordered four, they were THAT GOOD! We ordered a selection of nan with cream cheese, peppers, and garlic. There were other varieties we'll try next time. Sauces came with everything. The mint sauce was very refreshing and summery while the chutney puree (with apple?) was very good on everything. The tandori came with its own orange sauce I'd eat with everything. The food was delivered very quickly and piping hot. The restaurant space was clean and well kept but a bit on the dark side. Mens' bathroom was spotless. My water glass went empty 1/3 of the way through the meal which is unfortunate. The server didn't come by to ask us how we were doing or refill my water glass. Same issue, hostess needs to work on a welcoming and hospitable presence. 4 stars, we will return and try other dishes. I'm deducting a star for the cool reception. Will happily update and improve the review if the service is improved.
