Wow! So good!!! Wish I could give a sixth star. Delicious crabcakes, definitely fresh. Great fried fish po boy sandwich, my son loved it. We ended up ordering a second round of Wow Wow Shrimp (the shrimp are not breaded, loved that!). Perfectly fried fries and sweet potato fries. We were passing through, so the only downside was we couldn't try even more, it all looked so delicious. Loved that it was such a casual experience, similar to a diner. The service was just amazingly friendly and attentive!

We came in just as they were closing, and they very graciously let us in and fed us some truly amazing food! The shrimp were the best we’ve ever had, a little crunchy and full of flavor, the crab cake sandwich was fantastic (as expected), the Jambalaya was described as “incredible” and all of the staff were just so kind! Service was fast and very friendly, Would highly, highly, recommend. If you’re traveling though Maryland, you should definitely stop here and grab a bite of some authentic seafood goodness.

A buddy who lives in the area recommended JB's to me, and wanted to take some crabs up to Deep Creek for the holiday weekend. Called a couple days ahead and got a bushel of #1s. These were some of the best crabs we've had, including down in southern MD. Hard shelled rusty bottom crabs... Would make the hour+ trip to get em again. The staff was also friendly. They also had a nice seafood market selection.

The crab cake sandwich was EXCELLENT! The hush puppies were just okay (overcooked & oniony), and the pizza was surprisingly bland (I ordered garlic white pizza, they charged $2 extra to leave off the sauce; there was zero garlic). The Market Price (MP) for a crab cake sandwich today was $18, their online menu has the sandwich with fries; but it didn’t come with fries or tarter sauce and the team member told me I must be looking at a picture from an online review, I showed her it was from their own website. She then said that fries are only included when they sell the sandwich at the fair; that information should be posted on their online menu. Overall, I had higher expectations for my $42, but the crab cake sandwich was EXCELLENT (once I added my own tarter sauce).

Delicious crab cake sandwich and coleslaw!
As we were driving through Maryland, I called to ask if they could time my sandwich to be ready in about twenty minutes, when the gps said we’d arrive. They said yes, and when I arrived a couple minutes early, my sandwich was ready and HOT! It was delicious, big lumps of crab. The staff were super friendly too. The coleslaw was a big serving, much more than a side, which is a shame because it’s so good but I don’t have a way to refrigerate the rest.
Anyway, highly recommend! Will definitely stop here again next time we drive through.

Absolutely awesome! Had the grilled chicken po boy with mac and cheese, both delicious! My husband had cream of crab soup in bread bowl and a crab cake, both delicious. Got a quart of cream of crab soup to take home. Will definitely be back soon😋

This place has great food and service. They are always busy so calling your order in is the best. The waiting area isn't huge but very comfortable. I have never had a bad meal here and I bet you will not either.
