West Central Wine

Worked with Monica planning a surprise 50th for my wife and WCW knocked it out of the park! Great atmosphere, great food, and great drinks! Did meat and cheese platter, Crostini, and Cruise platters and everything was great! Can't wait for the next visit! Thank you so much for an amazing experience!

Update August 16, 2023: Twice a month now, West Central Wine is hosting lively fun Open Mic's on Wednesday nights 7-10pm. It's a real blast with talented musicians, poetry and comedy. West Central Wine is a fine example of an old downtown Middletown neighboorhood location made brand new featuring dramatic and stunning professional renovation results in design, building materials, construction detail equal to up scale big city fine art museum with tasteful, imaginative decor. Clean, fresh, comfortable popular with decent patrons 30 - 60 years in groups of 1 to 20. Huge, well lighted long bar plenty of stools, or, sit in comfortable couch and ez chairs family room talk style. My favorite thing about West Central Wine is Monica's delicious food. If you like healthy stuff. You can get a carving board of select cuts of meats and fine cheese. I love her hummus and her homemade soups. I have never tasted anything so fresh. Starting with the freshest ingredients, the hummus is topped with fresh grated garlic and abundant whole pitted kalamato olives. Served with your choice of select crackers or warm pita bread. You will never find hummus like this in a store. Her soups taste so fresh I thought it must be illegal. I've tried the french onion and am crazy about the mushroom. Can't wait to try the freshest chicken noodle in town!

We just moved here from Colorado and need to find our new "date night spot." We found it!!! Great atmosphere, dim lighting, the music is not loud (thank you!!), the wine selection is amazing, and the charcuterie board is perfect with its variety and deliciousness. Monica knew what she was doing when she selected our wines and the Christmas decorations (very atmospheric lighting) made it just perfect. We will definitely be coming back!

Some absolutely amazing wines here. I tried the Beaujolais nouveau which is only opened on the third Thursday of November, and the history behind it is really fun. The decor was really nice and the atmosphere was great - not to busy or annoyingly loud, like you get in some places. I am definitely coming back.

You feel like you’re at your best friend’s house when you have a seat at the bar at West Central Wine. They have 20 wines by the glass and over 200 available by the bottle. The food is also incredible. They change up their lunch specials every day and have a meat & cheese board that’s out of this world. I can’t recommend it enough.
