Waffle King

Nov-2019. First time here. A two-sided menu with Breakfast on one side and Lunch/Dinner on the other. Good, fresh coffee! The grilled chicken and baked potato was pretty good. UPDATED REVIEW. Went on 10-2020 ordered waffle, 2 eggs, & bacon. It was delicious. Social distance seating & masks sign. Nice waitress. Fresh coffee. Will return.

The food was good and they made sure they were at least wearing masks properly. They are having a hard time dealing with people who are ignorant about wearing masks, but I don't blame them for it. My Belgian waffle was tasty, though I hoped for some more ham on it. It was some tasty ham, so that made it better.

Excellent service! Never had to ask the waitress to refill my cup. The food was excellent. Ordered the 3 eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, grits, toast, coffee and a Belgian waffle. Came with butter and jelly. Great service, good cook, good food, clean silverware and table. 👍Restroom was clean and soap dispenser worked. Can't ask for more than that! I'll be back if I'm coming through and I do recommend this establishment. It's conveniently located and easy access.

When we were seated, found an ant on the table. We ordered our food. My food was good, no problems. My friend's food was different. He ordered a steak and hashbrowns. He ate maybe two bites of his steak. While eating the hashbrowns he found a hair in them. Definitely not his hair for his hair is not that long. Told the waitress and she acted like she didn't care, but offer to refix. He told her no because we happen to look and the cook wasn't wearing a hair net. She only had her hair pulled back in a ponytail. Didn't give discount either. Asked to speak to manager and was told that the manager wouldn't be in til the next day.
