If you're anywhere near Loudoun County, you HAVE to go to Popcorn Monkey.
The popcorn is incredibly delicious. I sampled about 6 different flavors and ended up buying the Old Crabby, Caramel, Texas Tornado and Cheddar. Old Crabby was the best and Texas Tornado was the 2nd best. But for people who like sweet popcorn, the Caramel was great.
The other interesting thing about this shop are the retro candies and soda pops they have.
Before you go, check the hours or call them to make sure they're open. The trip out there is so worth it!
The jalapeño is my favorite go to flavor...hands down!!! Tone and his wife are ALWAYS a pleasure!! Love their popcorn, their shop, and their impeccable customer service.
OMG SO MANY FLAVORS! This place is owned by a local couple that makes a lot of unique flavors for their popcorn. The shop is small and intimate, they have a Facebook page and let people vote on new or what flavors to make for the month, and there are many container options if you want them. We tried many that were out for tasting and she let us try a few that weren't. if you like savory cheesy flavors, the Blue Cheese is just fantastic! The sweet flavors are all very good, but salted caramel may be the best I've ever tried 😍 Also you can get stuffed toy monkeys there!
This place is heaven for popcorn lovers!! The owner, Tone, is so wonderful and friendly. He offers so many different types of popcorn - both sweet and savory - and is also open to recommendations for new varieties. Texas Tornado is probably my favorite of the savories and green apple/caramel for the sweets. So many options to try!!
From day one this place has been a winner.
The owner is a super busy guy but when he's in he is super friendly and always quick to offer a sample of something new he's working on. The selection is always great and the flavors really pop. I'm personally a fan of the spicier offerings but I haven't had a bad popcorn from them yet.
It's a bit off of the main road but it's a total hidden gem.
One more thing - they're dog friendly and that's a real plus in my book!

Their popcorn was, hands down, the best I have ever tasted. They even have a website to order from if you aren't in the mood to step out of the house, but you would be missing out since they are located in the heart of beautiful Middleburg.
A must visit in Middleburg! Tone has a new flavor to sample almost every week, and the shop is filled with snacks, old fashioned candy, and tins with all of your favorite sports teams. And don't forget the free popcorn samples! If you are debating buying a tin, just do it because you will be back for refills.
