I was in the neighborhood and decided to have a late lunch with my sister. This is a nice little restaurant that definitely gave the feeling of a “home” vibe.
I loved that the owner had their story attached to the menu which kind of gave a little of the thoughtfulness that went into the menu items.
We ordered Tom yum soup which came with 3 shrimp and I must say it was delicious. Perfect tartness and spice.
I had the red curry with chicken and my sister had the Thai fried rice with chicken. Both were a decent size portion, might I say even shareable. Both dishes were flavorful.
My favorite item was the butterfly blue iced tea. Sweet, refreshing with a strong after taste of tree bark. Try it, I promise you will enjoy it as much as I did.
My sister and I were both surprised at the total bill because we got take home orders and it still was such a great price overall. Very budget friendly restaurant. I would recommend this restaurant for authentic Thai food and will definitely be visiting again to try other menu options.
1st impressions last a lifetime. I was in the mood for Thai and after a quick google search, Ma Kin happened to be walking distance from my home.
Fon was very pleasant. She greeted us immediately after walking in. The place was very clean and bright. On to the food: I had the Shrimp roll & The garlic chicken lunch special. My wife had the chicken Pad Thai. We were not disappointed. The food was delicious! Everything tasted fresh. After going thru my dish, I was leaning over eating off of my wife's plate. I will be a regular. Thank you Ma Kin!

New Menu from makin thai , High quality , tased goods . Papaya salad from pics is only friends. If you need some fresh try butter fly blue pea.
Ordered from them tonight and they followed my order notes perfectly! I asked them to make my chicken pad Thai spicy or to add chili oil on the side and they provided both for me. It was delicious, fresh, and the presentation on the plate was cute. Will order again with some other food options!
I had an amazing dining experience. I ordered the Chicken Dumplings, Thai Iced Tea, and fried chicken . The food was exceptionally delicious!
The most delicious Thai cuisine, in my opinion. We've only ordered delivery service so I can't speak on the atmosphere. Delivery is always prompt and the food arrives hot. Two times they were out of a drink I ordered and I received a phone call to either choose a replacement or get a refund. That is great customer service. We have tried many of the dishes and loved them all. Massaman curry is our favorite go-to meal but everything is delicious and fresh.
This place is darling. It is cozy and comfortable. The food was incredible! The service was superb. The young man taking care of our table was the gentlest kindest soul! We got the massaman potato bread, fried tofu, eggplant tofu, mixed seafood entree, Thai iced tea, mango juice, lychee juice, and Mango Sticky Rice! Wow. All the flavors were wonderful! So delicious :) The mango sticky rice was EXCEPTIONAL and so fresh!!! All of the sauces were so falvofyl and amazing too. Everything was cooked really well and plating is thoughtful + artistic 🎨 Mmm. Just mmm :)
My boss loved the spicy Basil fried rice with chicken but she can't figure out how to write a review. She overheard it was under new management and highly recommends it. Five stars. Great job!

The best Thai food in nyc x super authentic, taste like Thailand. My partner doesn’t really like Thai food and he finished two dishes. Recommended!
Must try: pad Thai, fried rice, desert (sticky mango rice) and their “signature dishes on the menu”

Small takeout thai place with limited seating inside. We ordered Pad Thai noodles, sausage fried rice, small wonton soup and spring rolls. Price was reasonable and food was ready quick! Taste was great and would recommend again!
