Absolutely love them! The bread is so soft and good. Used to work in the building that this place is in and would come down for lunch a lot. When I came back to the area many years later to work again, I stopped in for lunch....the owner remembered me from all those years later! Since its paired with Carvel ice cream parlor, my co-workers, back then, would go for weekly ice cream specials. The owner even remembered most of my co-workers.I thoroughly enjoyed the sandwiches back then and they are still just as good. I give this place very high marks for sandwiches and ice cream.

We arrived toward the beginning of lunch, about 12:15pm. We were told there was no white bread available; we’d have to wait. We took the whole wheat. Dry, stale; I would guess two days. When I told the manager about it, he blamed the nice girl at the counter (who was the one redeeming factor at the establishment) for leaving it in the oven too long. No; it was stale. He also offered no apology. We won’t be back.
