Long John Silver's

This restaurant is one of the nicest Long John Silver’s in South Florida. It has a great staff the service is excellent the food is always served hot. The restaurant and bathrooms are immaculate. This restaurant has countless awards of excellence from their corporate office. They are all displayed proudly on the wall under the stores menu. Now for my locals tip: All you can eat platter what a great deal. You can literally sit there all day and gorge on fish. Just remember make sure your plate is clean when you go back up to have it refilled. Also look for the bell by the exit door. You will hear numerous people ringing on their way out. Surprised to see a long john silver open. All up north that Ive seen are closed permanently. The combo is the number one with an extra lobster crab cake added.... cole slaw and green beans added. It looks alot like the Captain D's in Charleston, WV. Similar brick floor and wooden bench type seats. Its been a while and that may be because remote locations like that may be where youll find Long John Silver. I may have come more often

I have been eating at LONG JOHN SILVER'S restaurants for over 40 years. The HIALEAH restaurant is in my opinion, THE BEST LJS location anywhere in the U.S. The service is outstanding, the food is always prepared to order, hot and fresh. We eat there frequently. I'm especially in love with the delicious batter fried onion rings. 😃😃😃😃😃🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴👍👍👍👍👍

I hadn't had LJS in a while as there aren't that many around Miami anymore. I was not disappointed. My fish was piping hot, crunchy on the outside, fresh and flaky on the inside. The hush puppies were warm and moist and the pineapple cheesecake was very good. My husband ordered rice as his side and he felt the portion was a bit too small but other than that, he enjoyed his meal too. By design, battered deep fried food must be eaten fresh so keep in mind you will have to wait for them to cook your food but it's well worth it.

The food was oily and gross. I had to throw three quarters of it away. It was just not eatable. The booths were in need of serious maintenance and falling apart. The ceiling tiles were filthy and needed serious attention. The longer I stayed there the more I lost my appetite. I suggest eating at another place that will offer far better options for your overall health.

The service here is good. You order at the front counter and they bring the food to you. There's plenty of places to sit, and the dining room is very clean. The only thing I really don't like is the parking. I had to make sure I was not parking in a handicap space. Other than this, I recommend anyone to come here and eat.
