From the bottom of my heart, please go and visit this place. My partner and I were strongly recommended to stop by sometime, and wow. The owners, Tony and Wendy, are the sweetest people I have met in a very long time! Wendy is such a kind a loving lady who made us feel extremely at home. The food was just outstanding; we both had an oxtail/jerk chicken combo with everything included. The plantain is superb, and it was our first proper time trying Jamaican food. If you are hesitant about whether a drive to downtown is worth it, it absolutely is! And take that from two people who used an uber and the metro-mover to get there :) We wish you all the best with the restaurant! Lots of love from Amsterdam!

I can’t lie. I have been looking for a great Jamaican restaurant and I can tell you this is THE GREATEST I have had. Honestly this take me back to my roots!! Please note!!! Don’t follow these negative reviews!! They are just bitter that a better tasting restaurant is on the block! You Will Not Be Disappointed!!! Look at how full my box and my GF box is. Glad I stumbled on this cute little Jamaican Restaurant in Downtown Miami. They give you a lot of food for the money - and that’s important these days! This is a small order of oxtails and it was enough for two I think. I can’t imagine how big the large order is?? :-) The meat was literally falling off the bones and that’s important too! Also, the staff was super nice. My only issue was that the oxtails and the cabbage were a little on the salty side (the meal comes with oxtails, steamed cabbage, rice & peas and plantains). I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because of that extra salt. If they ease up on the salt I will come back and give them a 5! I’ll try them again in a couple of weeks and let you all know. Thanks!

So, last night after first getting settled in; I ordered Jamaican food from Jamaica Corner, let’s just say I was highly UNDERwhelmed. The cabbage wasn’t made right, the plantains weren’t cooked right, entire meal for $50 and it wasn’t good. No seasonings, or what? Well, the pattie was good but that’s it! So, I gave 2 stars for the pattie & Jamaican soda. Lemonade was nasty too. 😤🌝😮‍💨

My plantains were left off my meal MON!!! What's up with that? Also , I had asked for extra gravy right, maybe it was me for assuming that the extra gravy would go over the rice instead of the cabbage. I was so confused. I will remember to be more specific next time. Anywho after I had gotten the cabbage off, I was actually able to enjoy the oxtails and white rice with no fried plantains MON.

I ordered via ubereats because of the great reviews seen on yelp and google. The delivery was fine; however, the food was terrible just out right disgusting. I ordered the oxtails, rice and peas, steamed veggies and plaintains. The oxtails looked and tasted burnt with no flavor, the rice is bland, the steamed cabbage was overcooked and the plaintains were rotten yuck. I threw it straight in the garbage.
