This place is phenomenal!
My husband and I found this place 3 weeks ago, and we have already visited 4 times.
Don't let yourself get discouraged by the look of the shopping center.
This place was re-opened 3 months ago, and it has been nicely remodeled.
The place is not longer called EL nuevo Tondero, the new owner changed its name to CEVICHE BRASAS Y VINOS.
A peruvian, Argentinean and Chilean fusion.
The owner Cecilia is very kind and has an outstanding customer service.
The food is amazing! She always the best ingredients to ensure the quality of her dishes.
They always bring out some freshly made bread and tasty empanadas.
Make sure you go with an empty stomach since the portions of the food serve is very generous! You could always take the leftovers with you and enjoy them the next day at work.
First time we went we tried the Ceviche Mixto..wow..this was so so delicious.
Second time we went we tried Arroz chaufa, it was soo unbelievable tasty.
(This time we took some friends with us, now they are addicted too)
Third time went we tried Lomo Santado...man! Is there something that doesn't taste good!
Fourth time we tried Asado (Grilled NY strip, with chicken, morzilla and a couple of more delicious things that I don't really know the name for.
The colada morada, and the dessers are to die for.
I think the food is very underprice, for everything that you are getting plus the awesome customer service.
If Im not mistaken the prices are between 15 and $18 dollars.
They have specials everyday, I think Sunday you'll get a free bottle of wine with El Asado...
Give this place a chance and you'll find yourself coming back more often than you think.
