Mao Fast Food

Stumbled across this place while trying to find some food on the way back to the hotel. Sooooo glad we stopped. I love little dives like this and Mao's definitely delivered. We got a burger and a hot dog and it was amazing! I've had a Columbian style burger in other parts of the state but this one took the cake. Everything tasted amazing and was super fresh. Prices were reasonable and the service was very friendly. If you like burgers or hot dogs (just the two items I had out of many) you have to try this place.

A fantastic Colombian Fast Food joint that is very fulfilling. My previous concerns with Fast-Food restaurants or even Venezuelan types that share a similar menu is that their servings are an exaggeration. It is typical for their burgers to have spilling condiments outside as it is "per usual". The people here do not abide by this. They are conscious to not overload their servings and because of this, hits the spot when feeling a particular type of hunger. Also worth noting, their pricing is very deserving and also has weekend specials such as the "Tequeño Extreme" a burger composed of two tequeños!

I wanted to try something different during my visit to Miami and this was an excellent choice. Staff had great customer service and was able to suggest a delicious dish, can't pronounce the name, but it was tasty. Chicken and lettuce was in the dish but the sauce made it soooo flavorful, along with the tiny fries (possibly onions). It is a must try. Don't be distracted by the location, see the light! Lol

This was an awespme place, after they reopen the food was still tasting really good. Since the last month I order my food through uber eats and it has always been a disaster. The first thing that happened was that next to the burger we recieved, there was a piece of uncook chicken. Yes! Horrible. I called and spoke with the manager as a good client telling him that the cook needs to be more careful. After that every time I ordered it was a problem with any of the items, I specify stuff in the notes and it was completly ignore. But today was the worst. We order a burger and an arepa. And i lost the money I just paid for. The chicken which was used for both things was completly cover in pepper, to the point it looked total black on the top. So the arepa was impossoble to eat. The burger didnt have any flavor and they didnt put any sauces. The only sauce I saw was ketchup in the bun of the burger and in the burger they charge extra when it comes with sausage but i only found a little piece of it. Since it was a delivery I called the restaurant and they told me " we can remake the order becuase yes, maybe we added extra pepper to the chicken we used, but you will have to come here." In conclusion, it is sad to lost a place where I used to eat at least once a week.
