Cafe Branca

Cute hidden cafe. Food is good and service is friendly and kind but very slow. Don’t come here for food if you’re in a rush - we waited over 30 minutes for the complete order - an avo toast smoothie and croissant. The avo toast with an egg was tasty thought the bread was a bit on the crunch side so it broke apart from one bit

Stopped here for an evening pick-me-up. The pink barbiesque atmosphere and photos of scenes of Paris aren't really my thing, but they made a mean iced coffee for my old man, who had just awoken from a two-hour nap. It's fresh and not from a pitcher, just mixed with milk in a glass, the way it should be. I didn't try any of the pastries so I can't speak to that but everything was neatly arrayed. In fact, we were there at a downtime when the owner or manager was taking stock of inventory with employees. Good place to go, especially if you like cutesy places. Someone's "Service dog" snapped at my heels. I put it in quotation marks because I am not sure if that's what that little rat dog was. Branca should make sure that they have a clear animal policy. Perhaps they already do.

I experienced excellent Italian goodies at Branca Cafe. This is a family owned business, so the service was unsurpassing. The owner is a very nice Colombian lady; you can't miss her Paisa accent. I sat with a friend by the breeze hall, right next to the lobbie, and it was delightful. The pizza was tasty and the coffee amazing.
