If it was just on food quality and taste, this restaurant would get 5 stars but they are getting 4 stars because the atmosphere of the restaurant is depressing, tables are not well cleaned, and the staff need better training. I had a black spec in my water as well. The restaurant is perfumed with the bouquet of the sea and the food is well styled and scrumptious. I can recommend this restaurant without reservation based on its great food but if you require great service and super clean and great ambience you best be served to take out. I highly recommend the food here!

Nice food, excellent service, Overall 4.5 stars: Trio de causas 5 stars, Chicha 4.5, Pisco Sour, don't bother, not the place 2 stars (little lemon, almost no Pisco the main ingredients of this cocktail), Yucas Huancaina 4 stars (Huancaina sauce not bad but could be better), Chaufa de Mariscos 4 stars, Aji de Gallina 4.5 stars (almost 5) and finally Picarones 2.5 (looked impressive but not so much after tasting)

I always say that its very hard to find good Ceviche in Miami. Today I experienced an amazing Corvina ceviche in this restaurant. I look for good fish, temperature, amount of fresh lime and perfect balance of citric flavor. Even the plate that came in was perfect to hold the Ceviche. Thank you for representing good Peruvian Cuisine CONGRATS I will be back for more.

Came here specifically to try their lunch menu which I had heard about through Yelp, and was blown away with my experience at this wonderful Peruvian restaurant near FIU today. When I went around 1 pm there was only a couple tables taken in their large restaurant so I was seated promptly. The decor of the restaurant was actually a lot more upscale than I was expecting, a pleasant surprise and made me think it'd be a great lunch date spot for FIU students.
Immediately was served a yummy Chicha Morada that I had ordered, receiving it for free for checking-in on Yelp. Only looked at the lunch menu which features a large variety of entrees, ranging from traditional Peruvian stews to ceviches or even mushroom cream based pastas. All $11 lunch items come with soup which today was a delicious Peruvian style fish chowder, yum! Decided to order the Adobo de Cerdo (traditional pork stew) even though it was a hard choice with so many enticing entrees! It was delicious and felt like homey comfort food. My boyfriend couldn't resist ordering the Bravo Sandwich for $12 after spotting it on their normal menu which was served on fresh bread and filled with beef tenderloin strips, provolone cheese, bacon, potato sticks, and chimichurri sauce. We also ordered the Ceviche de Pescado off their lunch menu to share. The ceviche was great; being as spicy as we asked for and surprising, for the both of us, for its large portion of fresh fish. Would have to say the Bravo Sandwich was our favorite, especially with their olive mayo condiment! Will be back to try more and will definitely recommend to those in the area!
